Pachs Place Restaurant — Restaurant in Tampa

Not sure how I feel about this place. The #4 omelette I got was good it was steak/bacon/onions/cheese. Really just a egg pancake which honestly probably better than omelette. But where I had issues were the pancakes weren't very good but they are on par with all the other breakfast places that serve them. I got the feeling this is a hidden gem maybe? And us being outsiders didn't get the same treatment as the "regulars". I say that because two tables sat after us, I presumed after us and got there food before us. Nearly getting there to go meal after finishing eating before we got half way through our breakfast.

Maybe something went wrong with our food and they didn't tell us, I'm not sure so I can only be left to guess why everyone got their food before us. Also another thing that I took notice of is the lack of attention we got. The waitress asked how we were doing only once our entire time there. And outside of her stopping by with a coffee pot already in hand and giving my wife some as she walked by that was it. But she was very quick to give us the check up on me asking for a second mimosa.

Can't say I'll return, but do recommend...

I have been coming here for a long time, I have noticed the customer service declining. Jake is rude and does not care if you are unhappy with his service. When i talked to the owner, Cathy, she also didn't care to listen to me. She just kept cutting me off and asking what I wanted. What I wanted was for her to acknowledge that I, as a customer, was unhappy by the way I was talked to and treated. Cathy then said, "Oh well, what's done is done, and I can't change that. Wow, what customer service. She didnt care either. So i will take my business somewhere else. I am sure that Cathy does not care about me going elsewhere either. I know that my 2 times a week breakfast will not hurt her business. So why should she care. VERY SAD CATHY. Also, after reading some of these reviews, I see that Cathy will pick and choose who she likes. Just read the replies. Some of the nice reviews she wants to give girft certificates to them but not every one who leaves a good review. Why not everyone, Sounds like she is baiting for good reviews. Fairly new to the area and was just looking for a simple diner to get a quick bite with some friends before work. Signed in with a wait time of 30 minutes and was seated in 20 which wasn’t bad! We Knew what we wanted and were limited on time so we ordered right away but waited a whole 50 minutes before I decided to ask our waitress to check on our order, understanding they were busy but by that time tables were starting to clear out. She said it was “half way through“ and suggested the option of taking it to go. We explained that we were in a hurry and went with that option. Having someone in the party who’s managed the kitchen setting, we knew our order should not have taken more than 20 minutes to make and they did not compensate us for their mistake. In addition, we even had to wait to pay for our food because they didn’t have any change in the till but I was paying with a card. As for the food, it was OK.
