I love Chick-fil-a and this used to be my go to place. The past year I had several issues. It may just be me, but I really felt like customer service has been slipping (possibly due to volume). After years of no issues, it seems that they cannot get my order right. Started out with a breakfast order after an early morning hockey practice. Before taking my kids to school, we decided to eat some chicken minis. After waiting over 10 minutes in line, I was told to pull to the side because it'll take a few minutes to get my order ready. When my order finally came after a few minutes, I mentioned that nobody ahead of me was instructed to pull to the side. The associate told me that my order was large. I ordered five 4 count chicken minis!!! I would not have thought that was excessive. I was suggested to call the order in ahead of time. Sounds great! Well, it worked on 2 occasions. Next time around, I was told on the phone that I am not allowed to call the order in. When I said that I was told to do so by store personnel, the person on the line said that I now had to use the Chick-fil-a application, although it was not working for breakfast items at that time. Not very helpful. Eventually, the application included breakfast menu as well, which was convenient until the next mishap occurred. We have a large family, and at times it is easier and cheaper to order a small nuggets tray instead of the individual meals. It was never a problem to call ahead and order a small nuggets tray in the past; typically was ready in 20 to 30 minutes at the most. On the last occasion we were trying to order, we were told no, but that we can order two 30 count nugget trays. The small tray has 72 nuggets and there is a price difference. Long story short, the restaurant refused to sell the 72 count tray, charged extra for the two 30 count nugget trays. On the next occasion, I ordered individual meals for my family and we ended up missing a 12 count nuggets pack. When I called the store, I was offered to either go back right away (I was already at home, tired from a 10 hour workday) or let the restaurant know next time I come by. I explained to the manager that I do not feel comfortable just reminding somebody that I was shorted on the previous visit, and I preferred a refund or a voucher mailed to me instead. I called a week later, because the coupon did not arrive, I was told it was mailed the day before. I called another week later, because I still have not received the voucher. At this time, I was told that I was not yet actually sent anything due to a broken printer. It actually took this restaurant 2 months and about 5 of my phone calls to take care of the mistake on their part. The final straw was another morning order. I placed a mobile order for twelve 4 count chicken minis for my family and colleagues at work. When I arrived to pick up (an order for which I already paid for 15 minutes prior to my arrival), I was told that personnel was unsure if I was going to show up, the chicken minis were not going to be up to par, and they were given to other patrons. I said that the whole reason for me to order the minis well ahead of time was so that I didn't have to wait around, as I was in a hurry. The morning manager said that I can still have the 6 remaining packs, and they will make new ones to fulfill the order. So to recap, the order was not going to be good enough anymore and they gave it away, but I could still take half of it and wait for some fresh ones. It was a terrible excuse (lie) and came with no sincere apology. This place is always busy, and I know they will not miss my business at all. The owner is a great guy, and I may return someday. For now, luckily there is another stand alone Chick-fil-a that is not too far, still looking for business (therefore very friendly to customers), has a designated parking spot for mobile orders, and so far got my orders...
Read moreAfter waiting about 15 minutes at the curbside pickup, I went inside to ask about my food- considering I was the only car there, I was told to wait while they checked. The lady I spoke with went to ask the bagger about and he just laughed at me and said, "What does she expect, she has a large order". Mind you, all I asked for we're two #1 combos, 4 nugget kids meal and a chargrilled sandwich. He then proceeded to say that it had just put it up to the window to be taken toy car and went into the kitchen. He did not come back out at all. I asked the same lady I spoke with first why on the app it would say my food was ready when I still had to wait 10+ minutes she tried to explain that when I placed an order through the app I had to say that I was on property for my order to be prepared. I let her know that I placed the order while on property and parked. She did not understand and called for the manager to explain to me how the app worked because "I didn't understand that I had to be on site for my food to be prepared". The manager came over and said the same thing as the previous employee. I let him know that I knew how the app worked, I had used before, and I frequent there. I had purposely waited to place my order until I was there to avoid any problems, I was just upset about how long it took for my food to arrive. He agreed that the food took longer than it should have, and said that the app will automatically say the food is ready after two minutes (even if it isn't). Never apologized or tried to correct the situation, just made me feel like I didn't know what I was doing and went about his day. None of the 3 employees I interacted with fixed my problem or tried to make it better, or even apologized for the situation. Never in my life in all the times I've been has...
Read moreLots of mistakes and this last one has lost me as a customer completely. Ive been to this location only a handful of times, placing my orders in the app for curb side pick up. First mistake they forgot my salad. I drove home to realise this, and called the location to let them know. Took about 5 times to get through. They told me I needed to come back to the restaurant to get the salad. I pulled up in the drive thru and let them know it was me, getting my salad. They hand me the bag and I pull around, check it, and notice they forgot the dressing. So I pull back around the drive thru and told them thru the speaker. The manager man with black hair and glasses thought I was lying and just held the dressing out of the window when I pulled around. Pretty rude I thought. Fast forward a few months later, I placed an order for curbside pickup and asked for "extra chikfila sauce pls :)" in the notes. An older lady with short blonde hair came out and yelled at me for asking for extra sauce. She addressed me by name (maybe from the app) and said I was taking advantage of the sauce privilege and that I need to pay for extra sauce. I have never in my life been berated at a fast food place for asking for extra sauce. I think they have a grudge against me over the salad dressing mishap that the manager forgot but could not believe he had actually made a mistake. I now buy chikfila sauce by the bottle at Publix to avoid any verbal abuse. I will not be...
