I don't recommend staying here, or even attempting to reserve a room online. We happened to arrive early before check in, so we went to see if our rooms may be available after an unsuccessful phone call in which I was hung up on. We arrived at the hotel and greeted by a woman at the desk. She was friendly at first but quickly became very unhelpful when discussing our reservations made a month or so in advanced. After providing my name, confirmation numbers, details and evidence of the confirmation email I received, she continued to say I did not have a reservation at all, and that they had no available rooms. Despite showing her the physical email confirming we were at the correct hotel address and hopefully allow her to find the reservatios easily, she remained confident we were mistaken. There were plenty of excuses made about how it was some how our fault and we had made some sort of error- booked through a third party (which we didn't, we used their direct site which kept crashing) and/or booked the wrong hotel location, or didn't use our correct names, etc. Again, all of the information given presented to be correct on our end via the email received. After about 15 min or so of a constant back and forth about the reservations we clearly made, she was able to locate our reservations. In an unprofessional way of blaming the manager saying, "Oh I see it now. Yeah that was a mistake made by someone else, and not surprised, it was the manager actually", She assured us it was found, but we had to wait until check in time, which was uunderstandable. So we came back later in the day when our rooms would be ready. We had yet more issues with new staff. We felt the man taking care of us was unprofessional, rude and kept arguing with another gentleman over which rooms we would be staying in/ making keys for said rooms. Not to mention, they lost our reservation AGAIN for the second room we had booked. I provided the confirmation numbers and showed the email I received to ensure we would be getting the exact type of rooms we had originally reserved online- still no luck finding our second room. They ended up having an extra so we were given that room. We ended up paying a lot more money than what the rooms were advertised for at the time of making our reservations along with the typical additional fees. For the inconveniences, we were "upgraded to a larger bed at a discounted price". Also, per the email sent, under the deposit policy it stated we would have paid for one room for our first and only night stay, which we thought we were aware of however each employee ensured we wouldn't have been charged despite knowing this was paid for at the time of our reservation. So upon checking out we should have only been paying for the second room since the first should have been paid for at the time of reserving it. Finally, we were on our way to relax in our rooms after a long drive and enjoy some time at the pool. Unfortunately, both rooms were very out dated (but we did notice some were being updated), and the floors were filthy. The bathtub was rusted and yellowed along with the sink, some lights didn't work at all. One of our rooms was supposed to be an executive suite, which wasn't any different than a typical room (which is what our second room was). There was no wet bar, no balcony, no jetted tub, these have to be specifically asked for. Halls were super loud at all hours, mostly the residents there. We could feel the springs of the mattress- uncomfortable. Bad/little parking. We were already bummed about our experience with the front desk, reservations being lost, unprofessionalism of multiple staff members, and of course being charged significantly more than expected, so we were looking to relax at the pool. The pool area was the best part despite being in desperate need of repair, and the water was COLD, pool definitely was not heated. My TV didn't work,employees don't know the difference between the rooms the appohlstrey on the chair was filthy had to put towels on it so I didn't have to sit on the filth. George did his best to help me and is an asset to your team. TheSpanish clerk on the morning shift also was very dedicated to customer satisfaction. Unfortunately the clerk that's on now at 5 pm is completely incompetent extremely unprofessional and worst yet a liar . No where on line or my invoice is there a request for a deposit. When I got to the hotel for check-in this clerk redid my reservation and created a new invoice in my wife's name. In doing so a $100 deposit was charged to my account. There was no mention of it from the clerk nor anything in writing on the new invoice went over it with a fine tooth comb . When deposits are required by a hotel it's taken upon arrival and is presented in writing during the booking process in addition when a deposit is taken it's a separate invoice than the one which is for the hotel stay. Now I was left with no money to have dinner with . This was supposed to be a special trip for my wife's birthday. It's been nothing other than a huge disappointment to us both. Before I raised my voice to the clerk I asked her why wasn't I informed of the deposit she had no answer for me then she said the clerk that checked us in was responsible for it . That's when I became loud informing her that she checked us in and redid the invoice in my wife's name. She told me right to my face that she had not done so. What a shock to be a lie right to my face , then I made her provide me with the new invoice that proved that she indeed redo the invoice and check in . I'm totally disgusted with her actions she does not represent this hotel in a good light. I can deal with wrong rooms but will not tolerate being lied to by an incompetent clerk representing your hotel. I can tell you my review of the hotel and my stay will reflect my treatment and stay at the hotel which I canassure you will be a negative review . Only thing this hotel has going for it is George and the morning clerk and the morning manager. At checkout the manager Linda chastised me for my interactions with her employee didn't deny getting loud and I explained that I wasn't used to hotel clerks lying to my face and denying that they checked me when she was the only one there . They are not held to a high standards of customer service or satisfaction. Linda the manager who I actually liked made excuses for all the problems I had during my stay and couldn't explain why there was no mention or written explanation that the hotel required a deposit anywhere, in addition I was standing next to another couple who wasn't aware of the deposit until he used his atm card and got his balance it was only then that he learned about the deposit and addition to that he was only charged$50 and was very unhappy he wasn't informed of it and was told it would take 3 to 5 days to get back even though I was told it would be released back to my account when I checked out. As far as professionalism the clerk that checked me out was wearing a durag or skull cap that thugs and||gangbangers wear with a zip up camouflage sweatshirt totally unprofessional .
