Wendy's — Restaurant in Tampa

This review is ONLY for the location on Hillsborough ave in 15 st As a single mom of 3 trust me when i say..You're better off going hungry with your kids in the car then stopping at this place! Not only are they getting high on the job. But the cloud of smoke greets you and you're loved ones at the board where you order. Then if you dare to choose the kind option of just laughing at the foolish high employees that can't get the simple order right.. well then you've pissed them off! At the window they shifted into.. what I'm gonna call "Spectators ignorance". Where their high questions & comments (every one of them) could be heard by me. Sitting quietly looking at them. Starting with the guy asking the high rude woman at the window if I was a cop. After she checked my car to see if I was one. Said no, then proceeded to make comments about me including "not being a woman" even though i watched her look at my kids in the back when she was checking out my car.. Apparently I had disturbed them by going to their job. Anyway avoid this place at all cost. I would bet they mess with customers food. If you can't you'll at least know if you get the same employee i did. Extremely large, insecure, and high so those insecurities slips right out the mouth around customers. "A hit dog will holler" and she was crying about her lack of feeling like a woman yet I don't even know you creep. im just trying to feed my kids.. You're too much. Get clean, drink water,...

Dave would be disappointed!

We ordered a Dave's Single combo, a grilled chicken, and a $5 grab bag. For our drinks, we ordered root beer. Almost everything about this order was disappointing.

First, the drinks were disgusting. Perhaps their machine wasn't working, but what they handed us was not root beer. It tasted likely lightly flavored vanilla something. We literally dumped these out. So, that money was wasted.

Second, the fries were cold, soft, soggy, and tasteless. It was almost as though they had been partially cooked the day before then left out for an entire day. These, too, were a complete waste of money.

The sandwiches were acceptable but not amazing. My son had the Dave's Single and thought it was good, but not great. My wife didn't like the sauce on the grilled chicken and ended up wiping it off. The double bacon was a slider that was acceptable but certainly didn't wow me. I ended up putting BBQ sauce on it from home to make it more palatable.

Additionally, only the drive through was open at 7:00 pm on a Friday night. We had two gift cards to use and it took them about 5 minutes to figure out how to use them, which backed up the line. And they didn't give us any of the sauces we asked for. The service was disappointing along with the food.

We could have made better and healthier fries and burgers at home and wouldn't have wasted any money.

Ordered online through the app (which they usually make when I arrive and tell them I’m there for my order). I get my food a little too fast so I was a bit suspicious and I heard a person in the cook area say “oh this that order that we thought wasn’t gonna show up” so I asked how long my food as sat there and the cashier Sandra said “5 minutes” and said with a condescending tone “have a good night” and rolled her eyes and walked away. I get home, the chicken sandwich looks like it has been sitting for an hour, the burger was ice cold, fries were cold. Chicken sandwich also was missing ingredients. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with my order from here so I called and got no answer. Gotta love modern customer service. Deal with a rude person that’s miserable to do her job and then can’t even reach them to get my damn order right.

This Sandra woman has been rude multiple times in the drive through. I have no idea how they keep her in the drive through dealing with people.

Paying customers have the right to have hot fresh food. I worked in fast food as a teen and I know for a FACT there are rules of switching out old food every 15-20 minutes of them sitting under the heat lamps. You can tell this place doesn’t follow any of these damn rules.

Hire better people. Do better jobs....
