This was the most horrific hotel experience I've ever had. I booked this hotel out of necessity, since I had to stay overnight in Tampa unexpectedly. I called around to find availability, and a staff member from the nearby La Quinta let me know this was the only Wyndham property with availability. That was fine, since it was last minute, but she did not accurately share the price I was going to be charged, as it ended up being over $20 more than what she told me. I wouldn't have booked this property for that rate. At night, when I arrived at the property, there were other guests gathered in the lobby with no masks on, which goes against the hotel's protocols and what I was told was being enforced strictly. Plus, it was extremely loud and hot, with dehumidifiers all over the hotel. Once I checked in, I made my way to my room, which was very dirty. The towels had hair on them, there were unknown stains on the bed, a dead bug in the sheets, and the bathroom was not cleaned. I was very unhappy with the state of the room, so I went to request a new room. Because there was an unmasked guest in the elevator, I took the stairs, where I came upon a dirty, bloody condom on the second floor. I spoke to staff and got a new room, and alerted them of the condom, which had not been moved even after I checked out. My new room seemed cleaner, though nowhere near where it should be for a hotel, especially in a pandemic and for the price I paid. The sink was clogged and looked like someone had just shaved in it. The smoke detector was detached and nonfunctional, and the main light didn't work. I left my room briefly, only to discover the door didn't close. It would only fully shut if locked from the inside. So, I had to quickly return to ensure my room and belongings were safe. I was only going to be in the room to sleep that night, so I figured this room was fine enough, but it was not. Early in the morning, I killed several cockroaches, which were roaming the bathroom and walls of the room. I could no longer tolerate the disgusting state of the room, and I checked out many hours before the required time. When checking out, the staff member was very unhelpful and dismissed my concerns about paying for such a horrific room. When I mentioned the cockroaches, I was told "oh really? I'll call an exterminator" before they walked away and left me at the front desk. I am appalled that this hotel is even open, and I've attempted to get a refund with no resolution. I have stayed at Wydham properties before and haven't had an issue, but I can't imagine spending another penny on this company.

I’m disabled and they could not accommodate they put me in a room with a broken fridge that had to be replaced twice and I have refrigerated life He sustaining medication that needs to be kept cool at all times their air conditioner was leaking a huge swimming pool all over the bedroom floor that we had to keep mopping up with towels So we did not slip and I am a fall risk. I asked them to move my room to a better room they couldn’t because their hotel was full, so all I got was excuses and had to spend money and got injured on top of it. At our stay we paid for over $700 spent for a week plus their commissary, hotel snacks hotel deposit a fee for my dog my service animal. Their desk fell on my foot . when we went to sit a bag of potato chips and a bag of juice and Bradon the table I had to go to an ER. He put me in a boot and I’m on crutches and I’m already disabled with no damage. They did not care they offered to fix anything and then they kept my hundred dollar room deposit and try to accuse me of messing up their room and their towels to clean up their leaky air conditioner. not only that their hotels under construction anyway, and I was given the poor excuse that they didn’t have a maintenance man that they quit. That’s my problem nothing but boxes of countertops up and down their hallways on every floor because the hotel was gonna be remodeled. They tried to tell me we couldn’t take the continental breakfast upstairs, but yet you can sell snacks in your lobby that can go upstairs and I can DoorDash food to my room and you can’t say shit. They make no sense. They’re two-faced hypocrites they think they can come here from their country and do shit in the US and they’re dead wrong. They are nothing but Dysfunctional and money Hungry. Well, that is the root of all evil and God will deal with you. I’m protected under rights under the American disability act and it’s not OK to take advantage of handicap people and or anybody else for that matter.

I would give this place negative stars if I could. The only decent thing about staying here was location as we were attending a concert at the stadium. I can’t believe Wyndham has this place under their name. It’s absolutely disgusting. The place is filled with mold. The windows were cracked. It almost looked like a bullet hit the window. The window doesn’t even close all the way. Which is why it was humid and hot. The pull out bed from the couch was absolutely horrendous. There was blood stains, little pieces of fecal and other mysterious stains everywhere. Also, it was thinner than paper and you can feel all the wires under the paper like “mattress.” We asked the front desk for the roll out cots and he said they were going to be used by someone else. However, we woke up early the next morning and the cots were still in the same place. I don’t know if the man was just lazy and didn’t feel like giving them to us or what… So unfortunately, we slept on the pull out. But only after we requested extra sheets. We asked for extra pillows and of course they said they were out. The actual queen size bed was terrible too. It was so rickety every time you took a breath it would squeak like a dying animal. The bathroom was covered in mold, pieces of the wall was falling off. The toilet was partially broken and extremely questionable. The whole room smelled musky and we all woke up with stuffy sinuses. We contemplated doing this place a favor by lighting a match when we left…. Oh and there was complimentary breakfast but you can’t pay us all the money in the world to even try eating there. I can’t believe management allows guests to sleep here. Please consider either demolishing the place or renovating.. Enjoy the photo slide of the hells inn slum. At least the Taylor Swift concert made this trip worth it.

Friday, December 30, 2022....an absolute HORRIBLE stay began with an online booking for 2 couples. At check in the front desk tried to give us a room with one bed - 1bed for 2 couples! We told him that we paid for 2 beds and that's what we wanted. He finally offered a suite with 1 bed and a pull out couch. That was fine....until we got into the room and discovered ONE bath towel, ONE wash cloth and no bath mat. As one of us went back to the front desk for towels (there were none) the other couple pulled out the sofa bed and not only were there were no sheets or blankets on it (nor anywhere else in the room)but the mattress was FILTHY with yellow stains. Told by the front desk that there were no sheets or blankets available. We had to use the bedspread to lie on and thankfully we had our own blankets for a cover. The next morning my husband and I were harassed by the blonde woman behind the desk. "What room are you in? What's the name on the room? Hmmm...I don't see that name here. Are you sure you have the right room?" And so on. I asked for towels at that time and was told by the little man at the computer to come back in an hour. Before we could get to the elevator this same little man tried to take my phone from my hands stating that he doesn't like to be recorded and that I needed to show him and delete his picture. There was no such picture but I told him that I would show him in an hour when I came back for my towels. His reply was this: You get no towels and you must leave my property at once...this was around 9:30 in the morning. My husband and I have stayed here several times in the past few months and this same blonde woman has harassed us each visit. At one visit she had the breakfast attendant inform us that we were checking out that morning and tapped her wrist. It was 9 AM. Check out is 11.

I don't know where these people got their customer service experience but they are sadly lacking in that department. They clearly have zero empathy for the disenfranchised society (or anybody else for that matter)because they harass all of us any time we've stayed there. You would think that an establishment known for many, many 911 calls would be a little nicer and stop with the harassment. Definitely should take some sensitivity...
