This was the first time I visited this particular UPS store. I went inside and found two employees both of whom were wearing protective masks. I was greeted by both at the same time with an enthusiastic "good morning". Then I walked to the counter and explained I was there to send an eBay package to a customer. As I expected the man at the counter knew just what I needed and tried to scan the QR code from my phone which of course didn't work. He then went to the other side of the countrr and tried again and this time he got it. Within 15 or 20 seconds he retrieved my shipping label, placed it on my package and handed me my receipt saying " there you go sir, have a great day". I acknowledged him and headed out but not before the lady in the front of the store had also wished me a nice day as well. I do a fair amount of shipping but 99% of it is at the post office. But this morning I was more than happy to break that routine by going to this UPS store and meeting two of the nicest people I've met in a while. If you ever need to ship a package or need supplies for it I'd recommend this store because not only will they have whatever you need they just may brighten your day with friendly words and quick and knowledgeable customer service. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was my favorite UPS store as I do ALOT of shipping both UPS and USPS. It was great to be able to drop off my various packages. I recently went in and was told they no longer accept packages with the pre-paid usps labels. I said I knew I couldnāt get a receipt showing tracking but I should still be able to drop it off for mailing. They refused. Now I bring my packages to the East lake UPS store as they still allow you to drop off both UPS and USPS packages.
Response to owner- as someone who uses a lot of UPS stores as I work in Clearwater and live in tarpon ask we have businesses in Tampa, st. Pete, trinity, palm harbor, Largo and Seminole I can assure you that you are the ONLY ups store out of the many that I frequent including the one right up the road from you that refuses USPS packages. Iām an adult I am aware I canāt get a receipt for USPS yet in the numerous years of shipping packages Iāve never had an issue with a lost package other than when I dropped off my frontier modem and yet I got a receipt from that drop off and it was a ups drop off...

Instead, they elected to deliver it to another ups location for the recipient to pick it up. I never agreed to that and that is NOT what I paid them for. They are lazy, incompetent and can't seem to do a simple task. I feel as if I have been ripped off.
Update to response: That is not what I was told at the store. I was told you delivered that item and it cannot be rerouted. I was told the manager would call about a dispute, not getting the item to the proper place. I have ups deliver all kinds of envelopes and packages to me all the time without this happening. Keep in mind this address is across the street from me, so I don't really care about all the excuses why it was not delivered to the correct address. There is nowhere on the receipt nor was I told that this would be delivered to another ups store. You wasted my time and my money now I have to hire someone else to do the job I paid ups to do. Another lie the manager...
