I can't do better than a 3 star EVEN knowing they have upgraded their ordering system because of the "crew". With ALL fast-food places your experience is going to be different with different crews. At this McDs "some" of the crew are good people while others glare at you for asking for a multiple cups holder (when THEY should have loaded it themselves and had it ready).
At times the first window has been empty and you have to "guess" that you pay at the other window.
The food quality isn't what i would call exceptional or even "great" for McDs, it's about average and (again) it's got to do with the crew you get.
A lot of the issues, i've seen, have come with the "night" crew. At times it seems like there are 2 people manning the whole building and i've driven up to a window (and waited) for 4-5 mins before anyone appeared to give me my foot and it seemed like it wasn't well cooked.
With this place, you get better food and better service during the day.
Truths about the industry (from both sides):
I know a lot of workers, at restaurants, have the opinion "if you don't like eating here, then why do you come back?"
This is a two-sided answer:
We come back in hopes you have moved on to other employment because (at one time) we were getting MUCH better service and a better quality of food.
Servers/Window People: I get it. You're the person just "handing" the meal out and the quality of the food isn't your fault and, therefore, you take a lot of heat for that.
Pretty much everything else, however, it's on you.
Being associated with someone, who's been in the field for 15 years, there is one truth about the fast-food business: It's a "service" industry and there WILL be "hard" customers and, if you don't have the mentality to deal with it, you should get out and find work elsewhere.
To appeal to the workers:
"The customer is always right" is the STUPIDEST phrase ever invented and it's created to make a business all the money it can amass by kissing butt to keep customers.
The customer is (sometimes) the most ignorant, intolerant, and impossible to please individual one can meet and they are better off just...well, let's leave it at that. The customer, in some cases, is "always wrong" if we're sticking to reality and not the "butt kiss" industry push.
I run a business (of my own) and i speak from YEARS of experience so, when i speak, i speak from both sides of the situation.
Technology based issues: That's not even handled by in-house people so it would be foolish to blame this particular restaurant for mobile ordering and such things. That's a completely different branch of McDs and the in-house people are not...
Read moreI'm not happy with my service at all on 12/20/2024 at 5:30am. I ordered the 2 sausage, egg and cheese McDuffie deal and when I checked the bag I only had one sandwich. I tried to go inside to get the order straightened out but as usual, the lobby was closed. I went back through the drive thru and explained I had ordered the 2 sandwich deal and was told to get my receipt and pull around. The guy said just pull up and they can fix that so I pulled up and told her I had ordered the 2 sandwich deal but only got one sandwich for the price of the deal. I told the girl I needed one more sandwich and she told me I would need to go back through the drive thru and order it. I went back through the drive thru and when I got to the first window again the guy said there was only one sausage egg and cheese McDuffie on the receipt so explained I had ordered the 2 sandwich deal. He wanted to charge me full price for the one sandwich again and by this time I'm so angry I told him to just forget it. I didn't get breakfast that morning because I gave the one sandwich to my wife. That was all the cash I had on me that day and I had borrowed it just to get my wife and I some breakfast. I'm very disappointed in the lack of customer service experience these employees have. I feel they should have made my order right without trying to charge me again. Read moreThe only reason I gave 2 stars was because the man at the window that gave me my soda was nice and for the young lady that DID acknowledge me and gave me my food AFTER I had been sitting outside waiting 20 minutes for it! I walked in the store after seeing several people that came after me receiving their food,,and the whole staff,including the manager/ lady that took my order at the window,,looked at me like I had 2 heads! She asks some lil girl, after I've been standing there 5 minutes, did she get my order yet,,huh?! Finally someone "attempted to take my order",I told them my issues,,at this point I see another lil girl taking a bag to my car,smh. The young lady in the store that I was telling my issue to did give me my food quickly and asked if I would like a courtesy soda for my wait.YES,THEY WERE FULLY STAFFED!
