I had to get a refund because I couldn't wait anymore for a couple of chili dogs and a fry. The manager was very rude and no one working for her was doing any thing she asked, they didn't even answer her when she asked them questions, and I know they could hear her, we all could.. The young lady running the fry station, was well over filling the baskets, and then ignoring the timer to shake the baskets so the Fry's would break apart from eachother and be thoroughly cooked. And the manager got mad at me for trying to help the young lady out, by asking her not to ignore the timer, if it wasn't important, it literally wouldn't be programmed, the other 8 guests in the lobby, waiting on food, were astonished by the managers comment. 2 other guests were given wrong orders in front of me, and they served my order off of their screen, to save service times, and forgot to make my order, and again the young lady manager snapped, when the very nice front counter order taker simply asked about my order, the manager said she didn't know, so I said may I please have a refund, that I couldn't wait anymore, so she snapped at me telling me I would have to wait even longer. It was completely unnecessary and she should not be in customer service. I understand everyone has a bad day, but in the service industry, The Customer is Always right, regardless of how they may be behaving, and regardless of what has happened, the Customer is Always right! The last thing any owner of any business wants, is their employees to give their customers a bad experience. Also, trying to contact Checkers Corp to report the issue, I was on hold for an hour. Read moreI hadn't come to this location for months even though it's in the neighborhood where I work. I decided to go for lunch recently. I ordered.for 2 people and tried to order my favorite desert, the brookie, but they don't have it anymore. Instead I was pleasantly surprised with the new additions. I ordered a hot fudge sundae of sorts that is new and as I was going to the window to pay out of my eye I see funnel cake fries. I of course asked for it as I was paying. The employee at the drive through was Maria I believe. She was very sweet and totally accommodating of my request. When my Sundays came out I was greeted with the person I believe who made them. Unfortunately they were caramel instead of chocolate. I felt bad to ask for her to make them again but she also was so accommodating and came out with the most beautiful Sundays I've ever seen. I wanted to take pictures. She then apologized thoroughly for the mistake of which I totally thanked her for her service and just all around great customer service and just good attitude and promptness in getting my order correct. She respected my time. I don't normally go out of my way to do this but they were great. And because of them and the new additions to the menu, I'll be returning soon. In closing I hope that these women are in some way recognized for their stellar customer service, but for just first being decent human beings with respect and obvious pride in their work. Read moreThis place is trash, disgusting. So many bad things to say about this place. Employees are first day on the job most of the time. Kitchen is so small that no one can work. Drive thru gets priority in a very lop sided way. Usually 3-4 drive thrus for each counter order. Dining area, for lack of a better term, lacks all of the essentials like salt pepper ketchup napkins, soda refills. One person at the counter is just stupid. Tables are always dirty. Concrete walkways are not level, no music, no tv. Line at counter blocks the door so people cant come in or leave. Garbage is usually full. Mens bathroom door has been broke for at least a year. As soon as someone leaves the mens room the door locks by itself, requiring an employee to come with a key to unlock it. This door locks every single time someone uses it. Bathrooms are scary. If that mens room door isnt fixed soon, I will call code enforcement and health department. This place looks like it hasnt had a visit from either in a long time. Bottom line, you need to scrap the building, double the size at minimum and update everything. Remodeling would be a stupid idea. Bull doze it and start from scratch.
