I received the worst service ever in my restaurant experience. I have also been a server myself during my high-school and college years. My server's name was Theresa, blonde hair with pink accents. I have a two year old, we were a party of 6. My parents are regulars. They come every week because the food is good. The server waited on every table that walked in after us in her section, that was 3 tables. Another girl who was just cleaning tables was kind enough to get our drink order. When Theresa finally came to take our order. She critcized the girl who didnt put a lid on the kids drink. She took the bowl my child was playing with, but not hurting and said i guess I will be the bad guy. So my daughter began crying and my mom took her away to the bathroom because she already ordered . Theresa got through taking the order for half our table. I asked her a question about the difference between the homefries and hash browns. She gave me a response that she was clearly frustrated that I had any questions. I asked my mom since she's a regular, what she usually orders. Theresa, stormed off and said I don't have time for this. Then she went to the kitchen, delivered the food for the people who arrived before us. Then she walked over to a new table and started taking their order instead of returning to finish ours. I got up, confronting her why she didn't have time to take our order, but could take someone else's who just sat. She said, we didn't even know what we wanted. That was untrue, because all I had was one question that she had no time for. We were there from 10am to 1025am and never even got to place an order. She clearly did not want us in her section. I asked to speak with a manager before I left, they said there was not one there. I will never return, because I've never ever be treated in such a poor manner just because I have a two year old who was sitting patiently without any crying, screams, or getting up from the table during the 25mins we waited to...
Read moreUgg. I only go to this place because my buddy seems to like it. And he orders the same thing every time....a hot dog for $3.99 with chips. So we go together when he gets the urge. The other day the 18 year old waitress came over and called me hun. I told her not to call me hun. She took my drink order and came back and said "you have a problem with me calling you Hun?" I said yes. She said "what should I call you?" I responded "my name". She asked my name and I responded "sir". She didn't like that idea. When she came back with my order, she stood there defiantly and said "here you are Sweetie". I got up and went directly to the owner. He asked me if I had a problem with her girls calling me sweetie or hun. I explained that after I told her not to call me Hun, she then called me Sweetie. It was obvious that the owner thought I was the problem. The waitress stood there at the time I complained and was laughing, not concerned about her job I suppose.
The food here doesn't even rate the grade of restaurant food.
Waitresses are mostly teenie boppers that change frequently. That should be a major indication of the quality of service and food. This isn't a serious place to eat by people who are looking for descent food. They rely on a microwave for much of their food.
The rear entrance door is filthy dirty. I didn't even venture into the restrooms.
Try the competition across the street. At least you don't have to deal patronizing teenagers who can get a job anywhere else.
To the owner of Sunrise I say this. You showed no concern for my complaint. Not even an apology. Obviously, you care neither about your employees or your customers. When I told you that I wouldn't be back, all you could do is shrug your shoulders. Good Luck with your business. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising. But in your case it will be the worst form of...
Read moreWe came in very hungry and looking for a new place to try. When I say we a family of 5 which includes 3 kids. We were greeted at the door and shown to our table. Dropped menus and walked away. The place was full and place smelt good from the food cooking up. We sat at the table for 10 minutes and just looked around and waited. That was the extent of the service we were given. Other people had food and drink and we were not given drinks or attention. After waiting for 10 minutes and not been talked to once since seated we got up and left. Nobody noticed or tried to stop us or apologize. We went across the street to 441 HWY Diner and spent our money there for a mediocre breakfast. It’s a shame the service here is the way it is, really would have like to eat here. Trust broken so will not be back unfortunately. If your going there to have breakfast I would suggest do not bring your kids as I feel that is the reason we got ignored and or forgotten...
