I ordered the chicken strip basket and my mate ordered the steak finger basket. Both came with fries, toast and gravy. The portions are generous and reasonably priced. This is not a fast food restaurant... perfection takes time and everything was made to order. That being said... I have been enjoying chicken tenders and steak fingers for over 5 decades, in multiple states, and have never had such flavorful food. The flavors of each individual food was so good that I lingered over every bite before moving on to the next item. I had a side of their hickory smoked bbq sauce but didn't need it. The gravy was piping hot and very fresh. The steak fingers were very tender, thin but wide, not too heavily breaded, and cooked to perfection. The sweet tea wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and could be blended if you prefer a not-as sweet tea. The tables, counters, entry and restrooms were clean and uncluttered. Dining room staff promptly cleared and cleaned tables without seeming to rush us, even during their busy lunch hour. The adjacent ice cream parlor has a selection of 16 different Blue Bell flavors (including the new Dr Pepper flavor) and is filled with happiness. Overall a very enjoyable meal. I will definitely return whenever...

A wonderful kitschy place to step back in time! Lucky Duck was a great meal for us after hopping around the Sweet Eats Berry Farm in Georgetown.

We've been meaning to swing by and scope out Taylor with the growth of my husband's job building a new campus out here and the downtown vibes. The interior is gorgeous, a redone garage with great lighting to see Main Street traffic. My husband went for a veggie burger, I went for a seafood sampler basket and we shared the grilled zucchini! I highly recommend this side! It was so tender and seasoning is yum. Our toddler got the chicken tenders which came out piping hot and went for the fries. :)

Can't go wrong with these safe staples for a hungry party. After we finished our meal, the reason for stopping by was the best. The ice cream shoppe inside is staffed by the same folks on the meal side. Pick out a bluebell ice cream scoop or two in a cup or cone and enjoy your sweet treat with the little ones! Can't wait to return when we're...

So Today at about 1:45 we had ordered roughly over $100 worth of food. Hailey the young girl at the register was phenomenal in making sure we were taken care of, as our food was ready we realized our two extra jalapenos ranch sauces were not added to our order which we specifically wanted and had talked to Hailey about , a lady named Lara the manger was highly rude in correcting her team about how the ranches are charged and how we did get our extra ranch which we did not and Hailey even told her we didn't and that she had charged specifically for the 4oz Lara was even more upset and seemed like she had to establish her authority and as a cook myself and in the industry and customers of the lucky duck for awhile now it was a very unpleasant experience with her over ranch. Customers come first. She was rude and even just walked away at the end of the conversation great place bad manger in the making. Would never deny the food...

I gave Lucky Duck Cafe a 4.5-star rating because the food was great, it was a great value, and I can't pass up a BOGO! Pictured is the catfish basket w/slaw and the chili cheeseburger w/fries. My brother said the catfish was very good, with a Zataran's type breading. The coleslaw was equally good, slightly sweet but not creamy. The chili burger was great, but I ordered it bunless because I'm doing the Keto thing. Very tasty & reminiscent of the chili you used to get at Big Boy restaurants called "chili spanish-style"... LOVE IT!! Had I known it was that good I would have ordered a double!! I had to try the fries (for the sake of this rating*lol*) end they were excellent! Lightly crispy outside without being mushy. Fried just right, they were meaty (thick) & not overdressed. YUM! Watch your mail for this card and don't pass up this chance for a yummy meal.
