Saroki's Crispy Chicken & Pizza — Restaurant in Taylor

My new favorite fried chicken place! Better than KFC and with excellent service, their chicken tenders and potato wedges (!!!) are must-haves! If their chicken is anything to go by, I'm absolutely coming back for their pizza next. In fact, I'm tempted by pretty much their entire (rather broad) menu!

The only thing I wish were different was to have a place to sit down and eat--their side of the station doesn't have seating, so expect to take your food to-go (or go sit in the Taystee's Burgers seating on the other side of the building and hope you don't get yelled at).

Better sides and chicken than KFC, better service than Popeyes, and more variety than Chick-fil-A. You get it all here!

UPDATE: their pizza is pretty good! Delicious flavors, seasoned crust, fresh ingredients, but goodness gracious is it pretty expensive. I would only get their pizza if you're either getting a basic cheese pizza, or it's a special occasion and you're willing to blow $20 on...

It really saddens me to do this review, as I have had nothing but good experience in the past. However, this time around, not so much. I spoke so highly of this place to a friend who wanted some pizza. I even voiced this when placing my order. The drive there was 20 minutes away, and the pizza $36 total for two medium. The dough had a stale weird taste to it and was very soggy although it didn't even have much sauce. Our other pizza literally had full size dried out chicken tenders on it. It was disgusting. I called back and spoke to the manager only for him to not take any accountability on how the food was prepared or the quality. Instead he compared my chicken pizza to their loaded fries and said it was nothing he could do. I would never recommend this establishment to anyone else. I was so embarrassed. I learned about the place via Woodward Sports recently and decided today was the day to check them out. First, the customer service was A1! The manager (Jeff, I think) was so nice and pretty flippin HILARIOUS! I didn't get the names of the other employess I interacted with but everyone was AMAZING! Second, I ordered an 8pc dark with fries and coleslaw. Everything was delicious, but the chicken..... THE DANG CHICKEN..... The chicken is "No sauce needed " delicious! Perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside... Did I already say DELICIOUS!?!? Oh, ok! I dont know what else to say about Saroki's except... GET THERE!! I'm looking forward to...
