Starbucks — Restaurant in Taylor

Been going to Starbucks for much longer than I'd like to admit, & experienced a lot of changes, since they opened in Seattle, WA... most notably, less bang for my bucks, which has impacted frequency of visits significantly.

I rarely drink Starbucks coffee anymore; it is too bitter, but I will enjoy an occasional #ChaiLatte or #LondonFog, when the rewards offered make the purchase worth my time.

I will occasionally buy #EggButes, if/when I need a quick, clean refuel, & a bakery item, during the holidays only.

Most of the staff have become more genuine in their 'welcome & service', since they opened, but would do Starbucks a favor in terms of creating more profits , if they would smile & engage the customers more when picking up products.

This Starbucks is a small footprint retail store, w/limited stock on the shelves. I suggest the #SunriseRoundRock store for greater variety.

I was the only customer at the counter, so of course service was excellent. Ordered a grande cappuccino with heavy cream and five Stevia poured in. I always like the style of art and music inside a Starbucks, kind of hipster. There were five customers inside and several outside present. Took quite a while for my coffee to be ready? Not sure why, maybe the drive through? No, there was only a car there every few minutes. When it did come out, there was no sleeve on it and it was pretty dang hot. The cup also felt sticky. I’m not sure why. The staff seem kind of bored and not happy to be at work. None of them made eye contact the whole time I was there. Did my coffee taste good, yes. Could the people who work here use some enthusiasm and personality, yes as well. Hence only...

I have only ever been through the drive thru at this location before, and usually it is a speedy and pleasant experience. This afternoon, my daughter and I went inside. Unfortunately, the indoor acoustics are really poor, so it was super loud inside. My daughter and I ordered one after the other. She received her coffee and sandwich right away. After 15 minutes, I had not gotten my latte. Plain iced latte. So I walked up to the counter to inquire about my order. The woman didn’t verbally respond, just pulled a sticker and showed it to me. Then she proceeded to make two other drinks before the latte. So I ended up waiting for over 20 minutes for a latte. There wasn’t a crowd inside and no line outside when we left. I won’t be going...
