After about 4 different visits to this place, my family and I decided never to eat here again. We would have given up on it sooner but I try to give a restaurant more than once chance because anyone can have an off day but our final visit was enough for us to never return.
To start with, the food is very low quality at best. If you get chicken fajitas, you will get tiny chunks of chicken that are chopped into small bite size pieces off chicken so do not expect strips of chicken breast like many other restaurants serve. I do not think it is chicken breast at all and this is their way of disguising that.
The chile con queso was the WORST I have ever had anywhere! It is the same orange color, and same consistency and the exact same taste as Cheese Whiz. No joke! I suspect that it is in fact cheese whiz or some processed cheese spread and think they can pass it off as chili con queso- it was was horrible.
My husband had ordered the combination fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimp. It comes with tortillas and they brought him just 2 tortillas to go with that full order. We did not think much of it because at most restaurants you just let them know that you need more tortillas and they bring you as many as you need, free of charge because they come with the meal.
After eating two fajitas he asked for a few more tortillas and they brought him a couple more. When we got the bill, they had charged us about a $1.50. ! Never have we been to any restaurant that has charged for this. Never have we been to a restaurant that only serves two tortillas for a plate of fajitas that size either, it was beyond ridicules.
That was the last time we have been there. There are much better mexican food restaurants in town where the quality and the taste of the food is so much better, and so are the prices. So if your looking for great tasting mexican food at a decent price, KEEP LOOKING cause you will NOT...
Read moreMy family and I have gone here a few times and have had a great experience up until this Sunday. My entire family came, it was a big group. Our waitress checked on us once and avoided our table the whole time. We sat at 11:00am and did not get to order until 11:50am. We were waiting on one person, but our waitress never checked on us, refilled our drinks, or asked if we were ready to order. I had to grab a different waitress just to order and refill our watered down drinks. After we finally ordered it was about 12:45 and still no food, almost and hour, so we asked out waitress and she said "its our fault because we took too long to order." This was shocking to us as we are being blamed for the waitress just avoiding our table and serving small parties. She stated there was still 4 tables in front of our order and it would be another 30mins to an hour before we got our food. Our family decided to walk out when suddenly our food was ready even after she said it would be an hour. She demanded we pay for it even if we hadn't touched it and again, blamed us for ordering late. This made everyone extremely mad, and the food was cold which means it had been sitting in the back for awhile. The cheese in my enchiladas had already solidified. This was one of the rudest and worst experience. We were solid customers, but will never be going back. DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR...
Read moreExtremely unprofessional experience. When I walked up to the counter, I told the woman (who turned out to be the manager) that my order was to-go. Instead of just taking my order, she told me to “hold on,” went to check on something else, and came back with nothing. Then, in the middle of me ordering, she interrupted to ask for my name. When I said I wasn’t finished yet, she insisted she “needed it now,” and from there, the attitude came out. She started acting like she knew me — the animosity felt personal, which left me confused. She kept rolling her eyes, raising her voice, and making little side comments about the line being long instead of just taking my order. At one point, she even tried to get the other worker’s attention like it was a joke. Be for real — that was crazy behavior, especially coming from a manager. I’ll admit, I got a little petty back because the whole situation was unnecessary. She made a complete scene for no reason — weirdo vibes, honestly. We rarely eat here anyway because the prices are high and the service has been hit or miss, but our favorite spot (Zapata’s) is closed on Sundays, so we gave it another try. Big mistake. They would never treat customers like that. It might not matter to y’all, but we’ll never visit here...
