I’ll start off by saying the food that food was good and the girl working the drive thru was nice. Here’s where the problem came in. Story time. So I ordered a $5 dollar biggie bag with a crispy chicken sandwich, which I modified no mayo, no lettuce, add ranch, and it came plain. I ordered an extra 10 piece and and 6 piece. The 10 piece with ranch and the 6 piece with two sides of cheese sauce which I paid the extra $.30 for. I receive my bag check the sandwich because for some reason when I visit this location they always make it normal or plain. So when I find the sandwich is plain I pull around and go back inside and ask if I can ranch for the sandwich and the manager with washed out orange hair, goes to grab ranch that you would dip your nuggets in. Well, I worked for Wendy’s for 5 years, and I have a preference of the ranch on the sandwich station so she tried to hand me the ranch I kindly declined it and told her sorry but I’d like the ranch from the sandwich station it just taste better. Well, that clearly upset this girl because I could hear her ranting the entire walk over to get it. I didn’t realize that it was such an upsetting task. So she come back with the side of ranch and this time an attitude and goes that will be $.30 cents. I ask why? She tell me thats what I side of ranch cost. And I told her well, I didn’t. Want an extra side I originally wanted it on the sandwich. Which she proceed to argue with me that I would need to pay for it. I told her I have never had to pay for it and had you made the sandwich like I had asked I would be needing a side. Over it, she throws the ranch on the counter and in a snarky voice says whatever have a great day. So I tell her thank you and hope she has a better day. Wel, now I get home and the cheese sauce I originally paid for, it’s not in the bag. I’m not going to make a fuss over the $.60 since gone but who ever put this girl in charge as a manager might want to rethink their decision. Very very poor customer service and if that how she deals with something as small as ranch, I couldn’t imagine how she deals with an actually altercation. Needless to say I’ll drive the extra bit next time for Wendy’s of telegraph and in the mean I highly recommend someone training this girl on how to treat people...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if I could. Fast food has really gone down hill and people's work ethic sucks in general, but this Wendy's has consistently gone down hill since their remodel after a fire a couple years ago. I won't be returning. Yesterday I came through the drive thru and the girl on the speaker had an attitude. I told her I wanted a "baked potato with butter" as part of my order. She seemed distracted and then said "what kind did you want?", sharply. I was confused by the question because I legit just said what I wanted but I've worked in fast food when I was 16, so I said "I'm not sure what you mean. I wanted a baked potato." She sharply spits out "chili, chili/cheese, sour cream and chive, plain,......." I said "well I wanted butter so I guess, plain then." I finish the order and get to the window. She gives me the order and says "you're all set." I pulled into a space because I wasn't confident that it was accurate and has been wrong before (I try to give places the benefit of the doubt before writing them off completely). Sure enough...missing 2 cheeseburgers and a medium fry. I walk into the restaurant and the girl bagging the orders in talking to the girl in the window not even paying attention (surprise! 🤪). I wait there for over 1 minute for her to even turn around and notice someone has walked in. I cleared my throat and she finally looked up. I explained what happened and as she bags my food that was sitting right in the warmer just nonchalantly turns, hands over the bag and says "sorry about that" while turning back to her conversation quickly. Someone was parked right outside the door when I went through the drive thru and came out with food so I assume they had a similar experience. If you really want Wendy's go to the one on Dix in Lincoln Park. This one isn't worth the headache and the $14/hrs they are offering on their help...
Read moreCUSTOMERS BEWARE 8515 N. Telegraph, Dearborn heights MI. Store #253. Was served raw bacon on 3 sandwiches. No chili or the 6 drinks that I ordered. 2 were cold brews and they told driver to inform me that they didn't have those.... yet didn't even send the 4 pops. They could of just called grub hub and had them reach out to me for a substitute. When I asked the man "John" on phone why he didn't reach out to me, he said he is the manager said he ain't got time for that. John said I could bring my food back up but he can't remake it?! He'll be glad to take it back though, but there's nothing he can do for me since i ordered via grub hub. What a smart aleck response. John even gave me wrong store location #. He claimed it was 225. What a joke of a manager. I am still wendys customer, wendys uses 3rd party service, so yeah my problem should be wendys problem. Wendys is the one who sent me half my order and the food raw. He claims the store manager Levita cooked the bacon and it's not his responsibility. So he just sends out raw food? Health department will be getting call from me for sure. The arrogance of this man. This was Sunday 10/15/23 at 9pm. So whoever Levita is, her co worker is throwing her under the bus. Time to restaff this location. If John can't perform as a manager, he should try finding a factory job, cuz he does not belong in food or customer service industry. Attitude and raw food don't go well together. This won't be last time hearing from me about this. John will be secret shopped frequently from here on out by me. I can't imagine how many kids or elderly people he served raw food to today and most likely many other times. ...
