Five Guys — Restaurant in Taylorsville

I left feeling disgusted. I went to this location early December. I ordered 2 burgers and 1 fry. I stood there waiting for my food watching how they made it. I watched the man on the grill put the 3 burgers on the grill and when he went to flip them he made them fall apart. I watched him open up a drawer on the left of the grill and put something on my burgers. The man on the grill looked at the kid on the fry station smile, laugh and shrug his shoulders. I thought it was strange so I asked the kid on the fry station what was in the drawer. He then told me" That were the meat scraps go from the day" I then asked should that be going onto peoples food? He then just said " No I will grab the manager" The manager came over to me and and said "How can I help" I asked him the same question. He then said " No that shouldn't be on your food. Do you want me to make it again?" I said no I want my money back and how disgusting that is and how people can get sick from that. He said" Im sorry for that I will tell him not to do that anymore." I took my money and left. I then called the corporate number and spoke with someone and it has been about 2 weeks and have not gotten a response from the owner or the management. I don't think I will be returning to this location. I Don't think I can trust the food that I'm paying for. I don't want to risk getting food poisoning from the cooks not caring about peoples safety. This Five Guys Burger and Fries is literally one of the best hamburger joints i have ever been to.. The staf are super friendly and are always seeming to be smiling.. with fresh and juicy hamburgers with unlimited amouts of FREE condiments and additives to put on your burger you never hear the employees complaining about how much you ask to put on your burger. The fries are always fresh made from fresh potatoes every single day. I praise the staff members for always being so positive and seeming to enjoy their jobs this obviously comes from positive management (or at least i hope so). The decor is better than what you would expect in a burger place, it does have large stacks of bagged potatoes in the middle of the floor i am sure its to make it shown that they use fresh potatoes for their french fries. On the wall as you walk up to the register you can see framed awards and newspaper clippings from all of the positive things the company has accomplished. Now as far as the pricing goes, the pricing is very fair for what you get and with all the free toppings you could ever want on a burger it and the superior customer service makes it all that much more worth it..
