Florinda's is amazing every time we go. The service is always spot on. Their food is authentic and you can taste the love in every bite. I recently was made aware that they offer Sicilian pizza which is their Chicago deep dish. Incredible! I will have leftovers for a day or two because the 12" meat lovers pie was huge!

So I order spaghetti with extra sauce and this is what I get. Not sure where any1 would consider this extra sauce. Will never go back. On top of that we notify they we will be paying with 100 dollar bill and when the delivery driver gets there guess what no change.

When you find yourself in Taylorville this is a have to stop and eat place. The owner waited on use. We stayed to have supper and got a stuffed deep dish to go. The dessert I had was a gelato bomb. Three kinds of gelato covered in a chocolate hard-shell. ♥️

I ate there twice this past week. The first time was lunch time, I ordered the meatball sandwich. This sandwich took 20 minutes till it reached my table, and as I looked around there was only two other customers at the same table. The sandwich was good, not spectacular, but it was only $9 The second time was dinner time, which I learned sandwiches are not served at dinner time. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and a bottle of water.The bowl of spaghetti was served in about 10 minutes and what a small bowl of spaghetti, and two medium sized meatballs. The food was acceptable, nothing spectacular. The person serving walked past me and gave me a "drive-by" how's everything? Which I replied to his back "good". Then I got the bill.......$17+ NEVER AGAIN...

This place is a hidden gem located on the town square in Taylorville, Illinois. Everything is made from scratch--everything, including the delicious, home baked garlic bread which is served with every pasta dish. The menu includes several types of pizzas with a variety of toppings, as well as all the usual pasta dishes you'd expect, along with a few you might not.Alcohol is served as well, both beer and wine, though don't go here expecting a full bar. The emphasis is on the food, which is served, piping hot, prepare to order, right to your table. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever venturing off the interstate into the wonders of...

A lot of great memories! My first date was here, many of my friends have worked here over the years. I know this part sounds kinda strange,every election night me & my mom go out here to celebrate. This time wasn't much of one (trump won) but it was still great. The food is top notch, & they have great costumer service. Always friendly & always get the order right. Florinda & her Sicilian family have always been good to me & who ever I'm with. I have even had legal lunches here & or business related lunches. Never had a problem & probably never will. And florinda if your reading this...
