Kudo just lost a loyal customer.
I've been drinking coffee here every day for lunch for three months. I would bring my homemade salad, buy their coffee sit down and enjoy my lunch.I don't get their food, as it takes them an eternity to make a simple sandwich with zero other customers around, and I only have 30 minutes lunch time. And one only time I ordered a sandwich, it took them 25 minutes. Then then the sandwich came with a long piece of hair in it.
Despite all this, I was still opting to give them my business as the location is close to my work. Today was the last straw, as I was enjoying my salad with the Americano I bought, when an employee told me that they cannot allow me here with the food. Reasonable, but before you direct customers out, you may want to fix your services and your sanitation issues.
Goodbye Kudo!
REPLY TO THE OWNER's COMMENT BELOW====
Dear Ma'am,
I have read your response. To begin, a "Large Americano with extra room" is not a complicated beverage. It is a drink I've been ordering all my life, and I find it perplexing that you are labeling it as something so special that you are having to train your stuff to cater to my special interests. Please...
My main frustration, however, stems from the response I received after expressing my concerns. I have been giving you my business for months despite a slew of issues, which included product quality, service, wait time, training, understaffing. Rather than acknowledging the issues, the blame was unfairly shifted to me as an unreasonable customer. I find your defensive reaction to be disheartening.
It's important to understand that the reputation of your establishment is directly tied to the quality of your service and products. As a customer who has remained patient and understanding despite repeated disappointments, I hope that my concerns are taken seriously and that efforts will be made to address these issues moving forward.
Thank you for considering my feedback and wishing your establishment the...
Read moreI have been ordering from Kudo Society for a few months now, as they solidly filled the gap for my go-to Bubble Tea spot, since Taipei Noodle House closed down in 2020. Having an opportunity to meet up with an old friend in Teaneck/Bogota, I leapt at the opportunity to check this place out in person, being very satisfied with the food I had been ordering to my home.
I was immediately pleased to see that they had taken up the beautiful and premium space on the corner of Degraw Ave and Queen Anne Rd, where the charming and quiet "Victoria's" used to be some years ago. That satisfaction continued to longer as I entered the establishment to find a vibrant use of the space. With a soft, homely, and artistic aesthetic, the LoFi vibes immediately set the tone for a place where you felt cool for being there and knew that the time you spent would be fun and relaxing.
The splendour was able to persist for sometime yet, as I was lucky enough to bump into David, the General Manager of the establishment. Outside of being fashionable and pleasant to speak with, he was extremely well versed in the details of the food and beverages of his diverse menu as well as the proud history of the establishment. The service from him and the entire staff was excellent, and made the cafe feel like it was a staple of the neighborhood I grew up in, despite only being there for 2 years.
As an excellent addition to the list of local restaurants, I implore anyone in the neighborhood to swing by, kick back, and order a drink. This is a spot that we want to keep around, especially after we lost so many gems to...
Read moreThis spot opens early on weekdays and weekends. They have just a few parking spot right in front of the building. The inside it much larger than I thought it would be, with a good amount of seating, which was great.
The drink menu is VERY large! There is something there for everyone. We got Lavender Vanilla Latte and Macaroon White Mocha. They were both really tasty, with the right amount of sweetness.
For food, we had Bacon Kimchi Rice Bowl and Kudossants. The bowl was much bigger than I thought it would be. The rice on the bottom was warm, and the toppings were all cold, which was kind of strange…Healthier dish than I imagined, which was a nice surprise. Delicious and filling! Brunch Kudossants was much smaller than I expected. It was soft, fluffy, and moist with nice sweetness to it, especially with extra syrup drizzle. It was quite tasty.
We had a good experience, so we went back a few weeks later. This time, we had Kudo Burrito and BBQ Pulled Pork Kimchi Rice Bowl. Burrito was large, and amazing cheesy goodness! It was certainly meaty and very tasty! The bowl had loads of healthy goodness, with a nice kick to it. Meat was tender and juicy, generous amount of it over the rice.
The staff here was really nice and friendly. We had great food at both visit here. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. I am sure we will...
