Go to jersey miked instead. Terrible experience today. First off all the food took forever to come out today. After i checked in and reminded them i was still waiting they finally brought the food out. my sandwich come out wrong, and instead of offering help they told me It was my fault & that" i shouldnt have ordered the wrong thing" despite their menu saying different. Never once did they try to he helpful, instead immediately became argumentative. I simply wanted my sandwich made correctly as it was listed on their menu. Instead of asking how they could help or offering to remake or refund the sandwich the girls (manager and her sister) got rude with me and kicked me out of the restaurant!!!!! At no point was i rude or raising my voice, although there appeared to be a miscommunication between the sisters where I was accused of "name calling". So childish and really just strange to try and lie about an interaction with a customer to try and make it seem like I was the one being rude? When i asked the manager to clarify what name i had called her sister/coworker she could not tell me what her sister alleged i said, because i didnt say anything except that my sandwich didnt come out how it said it would. I never "name called" as i am not a child. All i asked was the one girl not get rude with me and help resolve the issue, aka do her job!! if asking for good customer service is name calling then idk what to say. The girls were more interested in trying to have a petty fight with me than they were running a business. Incredibly unprofessional. I visit this shop every single time i am in temecula, i am APPALLED at today's service. If you want to get yelled at by teenage girls and leave hungry this is your spot! Plus theyre fake italians, nothing...
Read moreAt the beginning the customer service for came from a young girl. She was very nice. I ordered a campinispecial and she told me she was out of onions. I said no problem can you put some strong onions from last week which she told me she had. I said okay put them on. When I picked up my sandwich I was next door. When I went to get my sandwich the lady had it at the table waiting for me by the door. The polite thing is to hold it at the counter. Not at an empty table by the exit. The sandwich came with no strong onions like I asked.. and she even admitted that the other cashier did not communicate to the sandwich maker. I'm really wondering if the people who provide customer service really care about how they treat their customers. Do you really feel it was nice to leave a pick-up on a table. And being an Italian deli I would expect excellent service being that I myself am Italian I hope the owner answers to this criticism of mine and admit to the way the customer service was or probably find an excuse either way it was a bad customerservice. Do i have to explain my mother was italian. Lets not argue politics with that or make a racist comment. I re edited this comment because i typed it fast. I will say something in your favor, you do make excellent sandwiches to be fair. But today I received a bad deal. I read some past reviews and they talk about an old lady with glasses with attitude. Now that i think of it, you did not apologize for the poorly made sandwich but rather blame the kid making the sandwich. Remember that it is your customers who keep you afloat. And that means every red cent that people from all walks of life. Being polite and holding a customers order goes a long way if you want your customers to...
Read moreSo, they say most people only give reviews when they are upset. I actually have given maybe 1 review ever (which I should work on) but for this experience I was BLOWN AWAY and had to give my feedback! I was working in the area, and I'm always on the hunt for a good sandwich so I searched specifically "Italian sandwich near me" saw the photos and great reviews and drove over. I was instantly impressed with the vibe just seeing the people on the outside talking/enjoying the food. When I walked in, I immediately knew I was in the right place! Brought back great memories of going to little Delis in Brooklyn with my Grandma looking for the good boars head so we could make cold cuts! So much more I could say about that, but the 2 lady's at the register were amazing and could sense my excitement and gave me some pens and menu. I was hooked before even taking a bite. I ordered the super Italian sub, and a side of pasta salad. Sent pics to my brother before even eating because I just knew! lol called him after the first bite and told him "we found our place!" The food was truly weep worthy, I might have shed a tear! I will absolutely be back and even though I'm an hour away, I can't wait to come in and order my cold cuts, bread, peppers and anything else to go back home and enjoy with the family. Good job Campinis, you have a...
