This is a historical treasure! The owner's Chris and Richard have done a true service saving, restoring and maintaining this hotel. Enjoy a tour complete with local history of Temecula. There is also a wine tasting flight /bottle of wine included. The beds are super comfortable! Bathrooms are down the hall- separate for women / men. |In the evening; enjoy a fire pit, s'mores and get cozy with blankets and the company of the hosts and other hotel guests. Such a great thing to connect with other people (not staring at their phones). |In the morning we collected eggs and fed the chickens. Then we enjoyed a homecooked breakfast. I actually cut fruit and conversed with another guest who whipped up eggs while the owners made bacon etc. It was so refreshing.|I highly recommend this if even just as a once in a lifetime experience! |(in the pic with the muffins, they are fresh baked and it is an "open fridge" policy. Just came back from a one night stay in the HOTEL TEMECULA with my sister and I am trying to think of one word to describe this HOTEL experience.....I can’t .....because there are many great words to describe our stay....amazing....thoughtful.....delicious......||A trip back in time......connection to the past. The owners Richard and his wife Chris were the most welcoming hosts I have ever met. Richard who has a passion for saving this historic Hotel was happy to share his infinite knowledge with his guests. When you leave you feel that you are now a part of the history of this amazing Hotel. Chris will make sure that you don’t leave hungry. She puts out quite the spread of food for breakfast including fresh eggs from their own chickens. They go out of their way to make you feel like you are a part of their family. In the evening Richard makes a nice fire for his guests to gather around and enjoy a nice fireside chat....very enjoyable!!! This was not just a stay at another hotel....it was truly an...

This Hotel is one of the most unique experiences I have ever had! It takes you to a place back in hystory. The owners Chris and Richard treated us like family❤️ They are such giving people and love sharing their respect for the hystory of their hotel , front street and the surrounding area. This hotel has a charm like no other! Chris and Richard saved this historic hotel from being bull dozed and wiped off the map forever. They pour their heart into Hotel Temecula...welcoming you with wine, sitting down with you telling you all the many stories they know with such passion. Making a campfire giving you warm blankets, and then waking up to the smell of bacon, coming down to a beautiful full country home cooked breakfast. We were welcomed with white robes and slippers. There was not one thing missing from this wonderful hotel. I highly recommend people to pay this little jewl a visit . Thank you Chris and Richard for you wonderful hospitality...
