Freezer's - Now Mill's Modern Social — Restaurant in Tempe

This place should be able to rate five Stars with me. The wife and I went there for the first time about a month ago on a Saturday night it's primarily a pool hall both the big and the small tables the food that we ordered off the menu it was fresh and tasted really good. That first night we showed up a little after 10:00 it was a pretty good crowd lots of open tables though. The price is per hour per person it's a little bit higher than average. Table spacing maintenance of the tables cleanliness and proper setup of the tables right on par with excellence. The crowd's about a generation younger than me and the wife but that's because it's right near ASU. The following Saturday the wife and I returned about the same time not anywhere near the same size crowd. Couldn't understand who was making the selection on the music choices. Instead of being more upbeat active it was kind of mellow and like elevator music. This time though we didn't get the same vibe as the first we felt like giving everything we overpaid, how the service was adequate but again not very frequent. Would I recommend it to a serious pool player absolutely. would it be worth your time if you just wanted a place to go kill time and meet some new...

I have been here one time and will not go back. I am a server and have never in my life complained or wrote a review. I have also never been in a situation where I needed to leave one. However I went to watch the game last night with 2 friends. It took 30 mins before we were even greeted. And even then we were only greeted because the manager came to our table to ask if we’ve been helped. Finally the manager gets us a server. We ordered onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and queso dip. Our simple little appetizers took another 20 minutes to come out. At this point we called the manager over again, he tells us he is sorry and will take care of it. Our food was cold when it finally arrived, but we were so hungry and upset we didn’t complain. We got our bill and it was discounted 1/2 way. However our items were on happy hour which were $5 each so we were charged full price and discounted on the full price. It would have been cheaper for us to pay the happy hour price. And had it not been for the game we would have not stayed. I wish I would have read the reviews before going...

I played in a Thursday night 10 Ball tournament here last week and the place was great. Well kept tables, fun tournament (Tim Daniel the tourney director is cool and very nice). There was a good crowd and above all, the staff was very friendly and provided great service.

I'd like to make a special acknowledgement for my server, Nikki, who was so incredibly friendly, nice, efficient and accommodating! I accidentally spilled 2 almost full beers in a row (after she immediately replaced the first one) and she not only jumped on cleaning it up (and we were able to joke and laugh about it), she was able to get one of them taken off my tab even though I had no issue paying for both, since it was 100% my fault.

I was only here once before, about a month ago (also for Thursday tournament) and it was the same great experience then too... minus the tragedy of the spilled beers! I will be back regularly because of the good time and fun I had as well as the environment. Keep doing what you're doing and I'll probably become a regular...
