My partner and I came over to get some dinner last night. On our drive over, my partner put the order in on her phone, and we submitted it when we pulled up to the building at 6:00 PM. Upon ordering, it said it would be ready in 10 minutes. We decided to wait in the drive thru line to pick up our order. Let me preface by saying I have eaten at this location before, and my standards are never high. This time it was just plain ridiculous. It took us a while to get through the line, not necessarily cuz it was long. I just think they are short staffed. After about 30 minutes we finally make it to the window. We get our drinks, and were just waiting to be handed our food. The kid working the window then told me that they were still working on the food and if I could go back around. I asked "Go around? Like to a parking spot and you'll bring it out?" (Cuz that's pretty normal for most fast food chains) He said "No like get back in the drive thru line." I told him "Dude I've waited 30 minutes to even get to this point. And you want me to go back in the line and wait another 30 minutes?" He told me it would just be easier if I did that. I then inquired about a refund, but my partner didn't want a refund, they just wanted their food. I was about to ask to talk to a manager, but then he said "Well it will be ready in like two minutes." I couldn't help but laugh. I said "I can wait two minutes. I'm not waiting 30 minutes for my food to be ready in two. That's just ridiculous." He tried again to have me go in the back of the line and again I stood my ground. He apologized, closed the window, and got my food bagged up, and handed to me. Listen I've worked customer service and fast food. I'm very understanding of being short staff, and keeping up on window times. I would've been perfectly content with waiting in a parking spot and having the food being brought out. I would've gone into the lobby to pick it up too to make it easier. What I don't understand is the complete lack of common sense. Whoever is in charge of these kids, please please please just explain to them basic troubleshooting scenarios...
Read moreMy rating is based off the customer service I was given by a female with typically male length short hair. I could not read her name. So I had gone through drive-thru to pick up lunch for my girlfriend (who was at work) and myself and I didn't realize they forgot my biscuit on the side until I got to my girlfriend but I couldn't get it at the moment because I was limited on time because it was her lunch break. So I just waited to go back until after her lunch because the biscuit was for me but I called and let them know the issue. The female on the phone was very nice she said to just pull up to the window and they'll grab it. Well I went inside and a male wearing a green shirt had just shown up for his shift as he said. This was about 3/4pm. He was extremely kind. I told him I called about y'all forgetting a biscuit and laughed because this is something so small, silly, and cheap I just came back because it was in my route. He called the short haired female in a maroon shirt over and she was very rude. She looked at me upset and said if I had my receipt which I handed her. She then asked to keep it (I figured for stock purposes) then I'm thinking to myself why would they need my receipt to keep track of a 59 cent item but still left it with her. She walked off with it to the back and the male in green asked me if I wanted spicy or mild (that was on my receipt as well) but I told him I got everything else that I was only missing the biscuit. As I was saying that the female with short hair yelled out to him from the back "She's only missing a biscuit!" The guy and I both laughed and made "woah" faces as if we were both thinking relax woman. May I suggest next time someone comes with a receipt from 20-30 minutes earlier (calls first to give a heads up) they are most likely not trying to jip a multibillion dollar company of 59 cents and should not be treated as such. If I were to rate this location on food 4 stars. Popeyes is delicious and I love that they have hot sauce packets....
Read moreThis is my second time going to this location, the first one I was there for about 20 minutes before I left because the line was not moving. This second time around the wait was a bit longer than other locations but moved, when I got to the order station the person took about 5 minutes to even acknowledge that they could hear me, I did call out âHelloâ a few times, when I order they were out of fries, I get it itâs out of their control. I get to the window I asked for a large drink with light ice i was given a small drink with a lot of ice, when I informed them that I had order a large drink the person helping answers annoyed that they didnât have large cups but that she charged me for a small drink, she also mentioned that they were out of napkins, straws, and other items . My total was not given to me at the time of the order or when I go my to the window, when I asked what my total was, she again answered annoyed âdid you not look at the total when you tapped, people usually look before payingâ the sun was hitting the machine and the total was not visible, I asked for my receipt and again annoyed she replied with âyou can take a picture of my screen, we are out of receipt paperâ. There was a long wait for me to sit there and try to take a picture of the screen or even get confirmation that I was charged accurately. I get that running out of items is something that happens but I feel like there should have been communication that there was no large drinks available or receipt paper as I needed the receipt for...
