I arrived at this sandwich shop at 8:38pm to order two quick vegetarian sandwiches. The staff were clearly annoyed that someone would dare to come to their âfreaky fastâ restaurant almost a half an hour before itâs posted and advertised that they close at 9pm. This is not a white tablecloth.. dine in restaurant. Jimmy Johnâs doesnât even had servers. Itâs literally a line assembly of sandwiches. Itâs essentially fast food.. âfreaky fastâ in fact- just without the beef and fries. Vegetarian sub sandwiches donât require cooking.. and they hardly require any culinary effort whatsoever. The woman making the sandwiches had obviously already poisoned the well of morale in the staff that night.. because she audibly said âwe have everything packed up, and people dont need to be coming in for sandwichesâ. The other employee, a younger guy, seemed anxious and definitely influenced by her terrible attitude. God forbid.. someone come into the restaurant where youâve packed up completely a half an hour before your posted closing time đ. It was absurd. I was embarrassed for both of them that they were being so immature and so unoriginal. I was half annoyed, and half amused. Because they were like characters from the movie âWaitingâ. Their general disdain for their jobs and for me being a customer was so palpable and they made almost no attempt at hiding it. The younger male cashier did seem to realize, in the moment, the absurdity of the sandwich makerâs attitude⊠and sort of course corrected mid-transaction. Look.. itâs not uncommon to feel like the last half hour other day drags a bit at work.. but if you donât want to be selling sandwiches at 8:38 or 8:40, then close at 8:30. But donât allow your employees to sabotage your patronage in such a ridiculous and avoidable way. I will never want to go to this location.: I felt almost GUILTY for spending my $30 on two veg sub sandwiches that were missing half the ingredients. If I were the owner or regional manager- I would do a major training on basic etiquette with customers and a deeper dive even, into how perspective changes the outcome of experience.and I...
Read moreBought a #6 veggie sandwich combo. On a lunch break as I work in the area and didn't bring my lunch, so started quickly biting into the sandwich and noticed a funky taste. It was the avocado spread which upon examination was barely there but tasted horribly rotten. I simply scraped the lettuce which had sparse spots of avocado spread and ate the rest of the sandwich as I needed to get back to work. I was going to just leave a review but I decided to call so they could replace the avocado spread as it made me feel sick to my stomach few minutes afterwards when arrived to the parking lot of my job. I told the man who answered the phone that ate the rest of the sandwich other than the part with the avocado spread and he offered a refund to my credit card. I said I paid cash. He was going to credit my card but when I said I paid cash he said you need to bring the sandwich back. I just told him I ate it, but I never asked for a refund. Listening skills = the 1 star rating I gave. Hello - I just told hime I ate all besides the part the with the avocado as I was short on time. Also he needed proof when I paid cash, really??? Then he said he will taste the avocado spread to determine if it is bad and if ot is he will throw it out and of not he won't. Rude, not caring, and rotten avocado spread = never again!!!! I called at 12:36pm MST on 06/09/23 if anyone cares. Jimmy John's has no feedback ph number or website so I guess they are freaky fast but not fresh and...
Read moreToday I realized why I dont eat here too often. Now they just lost a customer for good. They hire the dumbest of people who cannot do their job properly. I called to insure you deliver to a specific location and the lady asked for my address and told me they do. I asked if I could call back to check what I want cause I was unsure if they could. I figured out what I wanted and called back less than 5 mins after my first call. Then I am told they cannot deliver to me. I stated I was just told they could. He then implied that the other employee was wrong and they should have checked my address. So either the man didnt want to do his job or the women wasted my time asking for my address to not even check the location? Wow... This incident reminded me of all the other times I have gone to Jimmy Johns with such disappointment in the employees. This is just the worst. My food is always wrong and the employees obviously hate being there. I will never eat at Jimmy Johns again and will insure my friends and family do not either. I rather pay for food that is made correctly and be treated like a human.. I am tired of being treated like an object when I call or walk in to a jimmy johns.
