Panera Bread — Restaurant in Tempe

Came In wanting to use our monthly coffee/tea subscription. The manager and cashier were talking and didn’t greet us at all even though they made eye contact with us. They made us wait a good 2-3 minutes before they eventually said sorry and took our order. You should greet customers ASAP Even if you tell them to wait a little. At a different panera we were told we could redeem an iced tea but apparently it doesn’t come with the subscription. The cashier didn’t understand what was going on until a nearby employee explained it’s only for hot/iced coffee and hot tea. I think it’s silly you can’t get an idea tea with the subscription. Went to get hot water for tea and it was empty. Asked for help and the employee gave us attitude about it asking if we even checked if it was filled. It wasn’t. It would’ve been nice if there were tongs in the tea jars cause anyone can just stick their hand in and touch all of the tea bags (which doesn’t seem sanitary especially during the pandemic). Overall very poor service from the staff and it’s such a bummer because this is also the closest...

I ordered a to-go order it's cold so I wanted a sandwich and soup but specifically I want it chili I really only eat turkey or chicken so that was perfect for me I got a turkey sandwich and chili a banana chips a baguette but what I got was not what I ordered the sandwich was correct the banana was there the chips were there but a bag of chips was missing as well as the baguette and the turkey chili soup when I called up to the place and asked them why would they give me an order when they were out of an item instead of just marking it out on the website so that we know it's not available the manager said that the item was available but that they just made a mistake I don't know how you can make a mistake when these items are totally different proof is in the pudding and I'm going to show a picture don't come here they're lazy and they messed up...

Decent food, way overpriced for what it is, though. The unlimited sips club is a very good value. As long as you get three or more chargesd Lemonade's or five or six drinks in a month, it pays for itself. If you get two or three a week, then it really pays for itself. You can get them as often as every two hours, though, so if you do two or three in one day, it pays for itself. I particularly like the charge Lemonade's, free caffeine.

In an update that's review, the staff is amazing, I will absolutely be coming here again they are so polite and so friendly

The unlimited sips club is a GREAT value, but just keep in mind that a large charged lemonade has 390 mg of caffeine, which is more than 4 cups of coffee worth...
