I literally cannot say enough about this place. Me, my fiancé and some good friends just happen to stumble across this sushi place. They serve high quality food. The freshest food I’ve ever had. Best sushi I’ve ever had. I am going to show photos however that is not even the best part. This is a very tight knit family owned business. The mother is a hard worker, father is the best chef, daughter great server, husband an amazing do it all kinda guy, and lastly the aunt is just an amazing personality. I will never go to another sushi restaurant other than this one again. There is no other that compares. I wouldn't waste my time writing this if I wasn’t so surprised about their SERVICE. The way they presented food, how nice they were, how cool they are, they made me feel like I was part of the family to be honest and I’m a white Italian. Lol. MUST PURCHASE: the BBQ Korean Ribs. Hands down the best thing on the menu. It comes out still steaming! Thank you Ki for all that amazing food you cooked for us, thank you momma number 2 for your hard working ethic. And to all the family who were badass and helpful! See you guys again soon!

I recently dined at Sushi To You on Elliot Road in Tempe, Arizona, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The customer service stood out to me from the moment I walked in. One of the cooks recommended the shrimp fried rice to me, even though I had come in for sushi. I decided to try both and ordered the Crunch Roll Spicy along with the shrimp fried rice. The sushi was delightful. I particularly liked that the crunch of the roll stayed intact while eating. However, I found the shrimp in the fried rice to be a bit overcooked and hard, which was disappointing. On the bright side, the vegetables in the fried rice were very tender and flavorful. In terms of pricing, the total came to around $25, which is a bit higher than what I usually pay for a meal. While I enjoyed the sushi enough to consider returning, I might skip the shrimp fried rice next time. Overall, Sushi To You offers great sushi and excellent customer service, making it a worthwhile dining option in Tempe.

Saw that a new place opened up near me with fantastic reviews and had to check it out. I'm very glad I did as this is probably one of the best sushi meals I have had ever. The Miso soup was richer and smoother (if that makes sense) than other places and from that first spoonful I knew I was in for a treat. I got the KD Wasabi roll and the C Boy roll (you need to write the C boy in on the order sheet) the C boy has so much stuff in it and on it that I can't possibly remember it all but it's tipped with lightly seared quality beef. The KD is Salmon, avacado, and cucumber. Topped with seared Tuna, smelt eggs, chopped cilantro, and creamy wasabi. And it is fantastic, just like the C boy. You can taste the quality. One of the owners , a nice woman, came by to have a chat for awhile as well which was nice. We talked sushi and their history and recipes she crafted 20 years ago. I forsee this spot becoming very busy after word gets around.

Update: We visited last night, and my new favorite roll is the Palm Springs roll! We also enjoyed the Love roll, the r&b roll and the Mango Philly roll (yummy, but we REALLY enjoyed the first three. Probably won't order the mango again--great to try at least once but not a favorite). Still our favorite sushi place!

We began going here about 3 years ago for our casual date night and continue to do so: He always orders a Sapporo and I always order the "bubbly drink that comes in a pink bottle." Whatever it's called, it's apparently a favorite of most ladies (according to our server tonight). Tonight we ordered tasty miso soup to accompany our edamame appetizer (normally we order the spicy chili version, tonight we ordered it plain--I prefer the chili version bc it's more flavorful). For our main course, we indulged in the baked lobster roll, the R&B roll wrapped in soy paper, spicy soft shell crab roll, and the yellowtail ponzu (yellowtail sashimi topped with jalapeño and tobiko served in a delicate ponzu sauce atop shredded jicama). If I had to omit one, it would be the spicy soft shell crab roll--good enough to try once, but not my favorite. That said, I have never ordered a dish here that I didn't enjoy. If I had to choose a favorite (from tonight, I have too many favorites to list!)--the yellowtail ponzu. Try this place, it will...

Disappointed…

We were near by Sushi n U and were impressed by the review so we took a chance… It was about 630 on Saturday night and the place was filling up. We were pretty excited as we thought it was a good sign…

We started with an appetizer and we ordered variety of sushi, sashimi, role and a dish from the dinner menu. Here is what we ordered:

Squid salad - normal. variety of nigiri: it had a bit of fishy smell. I had worse but it was enough to bother me. roles: tuna role - again the tuna had a fishy smell. Amigo role - had a saggy crab/avocado on top. It tasted average but presentation was not very appetizing. dinner dish: we ordered a grilled spicy squid. First didn’t look anything like the photo and the taste was below average. sashimi: we waited for about 50-60 mins but it still wasn’t ready. By this time, i already lost the appetite and i was worried about the fishy taste, we end up canceling it.

Food was ok at best but for how the food tasted and the price, i don’t think it was not a good value.

Overall, i dont think there was anything we ordered screaming for us to come in to give...
