I've had quite an enjoyable experience at this restaurant, having tried many of their dishes, most of which are both authentic and delicious. While there's room for improvement in certain dishes like the Chicken Giblet with Pickled Chili (not the flavor I expected at all), there are clear standouts. I highly recommend the Grilled Fish without the side dish; although I'm surprised by the high cost of the side dish. The Hunan-style dishes are a personal favorite, and I'm confident the owner hails from that region given the authentic flavors. Special shoutouts go to the Mashed Eggplant & Preserved Duck Egg and Cured Pork & Bamboo Shoot are delicious, but a bit salty. Still remember when I tried Cured Pork & Bamboo Shoot first time it was too salty to eat. The owner acknowledged it and cooked a new dish for me. The Bone-in Chicken with Hot Chili is...

I had an amazing experience at Tang Garden! The grilled fish was absolutely delicious—flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned. I also tried a few of the chef’s special recommendations, and every dish was spot on. You can really taste the care and skill in the cooking.

I heard they’re launching a new menu soon, and I’m genuinely looking forward to it. The staff here are super friendly and welcoming—they made me feel right at home. The place is also clean and well-kept, which adds to the whole dining experience.

This is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to often during my years in Tempe. If you’re into bold, authentic flavors, Tang Garden...

I would give this a zero star if I could first of all their miso soup is way over priced when I could get way better soup much bigger at Mandarin House this soup taste like dirty sock water has been watered down and they put soggy tofu with no spice. Almost $9 for a small. This soup literally made me lose my appetite also four pieces of meat on a stick for three dollars okay I guess, but the spice wasn’t great, meat too tough, and fatty, not a great experience… also the girl sarcastically said thank you before I could say thank you. All that for almost $13 when i could have spent my money on fast food and would have been...
