Fika Fika is one of my fave local coffee/tea spots and I was so thrilled to see their newest location open up right across from my fave nail salon! They had all my fave comfort flavors on the menu as well as a ton of ice cream flavors and super cute vibes!
I got my usual Butterfly Pea Vanilla latte on my last visit. The quality was there - very consistent across all the local branches. Not only is the drink beautiful, but the flavors are well balanced and delicious with a lovely smooth texture.
They have quite a large menu with all sorts of drinks, as well as waffles, avocado toasts, and all sorts of delectable treats. And I really enjoy how they have a little guide next to the register that tells you about their coffee blends being used that day that explains the flavor profiles etc. So helpful! I went with the Mellow Wave blend bc I prefer a lighter roast and it was flawless.
There’s lots of seating inside and out. Staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Prices are on par for the area. The location is excellent- very walkable with lots of shops, restaurants, and other businesses.
I had a great first experience (as expected given my pleasant experiences with all their other locations) - I’ll definitely be stopping by whenever I’m getting my nails done...
Read moreThe waffles were pretty mediocre for $16. Berries were super sour. Comes with ice cream, not something you'd want to get for breakfast. Service was honestly pretty awful. The majority of the staff there except the cashier appeared to be annoyed that they were working. We asked for water as well, something that should take honestly little to no time, and when we approached the counter after waiting a while, we were met with annoyance and told they'd eventually get to it. Then, they proceeded to talk about their own personal matter amongst themselves. The waffle literally took 45 to 50 minutes to come out, but before it arrived, we waited in line and asked about our order (mind you, we were very cheerful and polite). Someone of small, short stature with glasses gave attitude that we were just asking a question. Drinks were decent, but nothing really stood out. The cafe itself is very nicely decorated and it seems like a cool study spot, but we would never...
Read moreI go to the Fika Fika in Arcadia to study and I was happy to see a location closer to where I live! However, for a place that often has people come in to study or work on their computers I find the lack of the use of space and outlets to be very disappointing. There are mostly small tables for one or two people to be seated at and a small bar-like area to work at, with only 2 tables that can seat 4 (ish) people. There are only outlets where there are mostly 1 person tables, with the tables along the wall, which seat two people (three if you try to squeeze really tight), and one outlet for the bar. There’s also a huge bench taking a bunch of space which could’ve been used for more tables. Also there is a leaking AC vent on top of one of the seats right next to an outlet. Very disappointing and a missed opportunity, as me and my friends see it as a place to get work done, and they aren’t accommodating that. I am simply commentating on the work space and...
