One Tea — Restaurant in Temple City

While it's sad that the previous Boba Express had to close, it's nice to see a new modern tea shop continue in the same space! They have the tea-spresso machines to make their teas, as is seemingly the new trend now. They also have some loose leaf teas in the front, complete with descriptions, so you can have a better idea of the type of tea you're selecting.

We got the ember roasted oolong milk tea and taro puree and boba milk tea. Both had great flavors that came through, without being too sweet. Of course, you can customize the ice level and sweetness to your liking.

Julius was super friendly and helpful with walking us through their drink and topping options, and our drinks came out in a timely manner. Parking is plentiful in the back, or you can also find street parking out front.

The BEST tea house in the SGV and Arcadia area. The quality of the teas are insane and of the highest level. (Ex. Ceremonial grade matcha). All at a super good price. You can give the teas a smell beforehand too—I thought that was an awesome touch. I got the One Tea Signature milk tea. This one was an absolute hit. The tea flavor really stands out and isn’t too sweet (I recommend 70% sugar). Aesthetics are really nice. Beautiful studying place. This is a hidden gem, but I know it won’t be hidden for long because word of mouth is going to give One Tea the exposure it deserves. There’s many boba and tea places in this area that I’ve tried. I'm so glad I stopped by One Tea! The shop has been beautifully remodeled since the previous owner, and it feels really fresh and welcoming. There's even a cozy little back room with star lights on the ceiling and a glowing moon with one seat -- such a fun and unique touch.

I ordered the Avocado Mango drink, which was delicious and made with real fresh avocado, and my friend got the Mango Yakult, which they really enjoyed too. Both drinks tasted super fresh and well-balanced.

There's plenty of seating in the back, the service was friendly and quick, and the overall vibe makes it a great spot to hang out or relax with a good drink. Definitely recommend checking...
