Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Temple Terrace

This was probably the worst visit that I've had at this location. Not that it's always been great , but this was the worst and I won't go back. First of all , as we walked in , there were two guests sitting out on the patio smoking a blunt. Clearly passing it back and forth and all of their smoke kept billowing around the door as we were walking in. I'm not judging you for the smoking , but the blatant smoking at yhe entrance was unacceptable and inappropriate. These 2 guest were sitting with a table of 5 in back of the place. Could have smoked in the back im guessing not at the front door. That isn't WHY i'm writing this post.... This bathroom and this restaurant was the most disgusting bathroom. I have ever walked in at a restaurant. There was Toilet paper everywhere when I walked in the handicap. Stall had pee all over the seat and the floor. The handicap stall sink was disgusting and there was no soap. The second stall toilet paper all over the floor again. The other stall there was only 2 the other stall. The toilet paper thing looked like it'd been ripped off and then it was just sitting there on the top of the other one. The doors were sticky the floors were was no soap in the main sink either. We let our waiter Nathan know. As he said he did tell someone but we saw nonone take attention. We had to ask our waiter for hand sanitizer just so we could try to stay. I asked for the manager to come which he did. And he looked like the dishwasher wearing an apron picked up a tray and came to our table barely introduced themselves as Eric, he didn't really show that much concern of the bathroom. He just said o k thank you and then he walked off. After seeing how disgusting the manager was, we decided to skip the food and have our drinks. I've eaten at this applebee's in the past but I won't be back again. Because we wanted applebee's we decided to go to the Wesley Chapel location. Thier bathroom cleaning log was completely filled out for am mid day as well as evening. Clear difference in management requirements. I hate to see the kitchen. I must say this place changed some much and for the worst!!!! The waitress was the bartender and hostess! The drinks horrible and so was manager!!!! Told me no matter how the drinks taste or if I like them or not I can't change anything or send back fur different although I had only tasted the drink still full and a whole other that I not drink at all and he then says it's posted on the door for you to see it when you come in like anyone is reading the door when they walk into a restaurant he than just walks away!!! Guess anybody can now where a red shirt and be called a manager!!! He lacks people skills and leadership skills which something a real manager would have and it's shows by the way the employees behavior was( They all walking around like mean zombies as if they hated being and could wait to leave)!!!!!! Not smiling or welcoming or helpful at all !!! My nephews burgers can out raw !! Very pink in the inside!!! Then when leaving the waitress / bartender/ hostess was standing by our table wait to get the check as we were going to walk of with mind you she was already told to keep the change and it's was a only hundred dollar bill left in the table bill like 93 and honestly she didn't deserve that!!!! No wonder I heard this place sucks from a few people and there only like 10 tables with people at them and three people at the bar at bar at 8 pm!!!! This place use to be slammed around that time before!!! Should listen and went to the one on Hillsborough as I have been told several times and definitely will next time!!! Do not order takeout from this restaurant unless you feel like waiting a long long time. We ordered carside to go tonight on the way to a show. We ended up waiting in the parking lot for half an hour right in front of the windows in a bright yellow car. Nobody ever came out. So we went inside instead. One of the guys working walked by us ignored us for a little bit but not too long, and then looked at us and asked what we were there for. I told him we had a car side to go order but we've been sitting outside for half an hour and nobody had come out. They came and brought it right out of the kitchen. How long had it been sitting there? Who knows but it was cold by the time we got it. Fortunately my son's food was a salad so it was fine that it was cold. My quesadilla however there's not even close to the right temperature because apparently they don't work out the window at carside to go even when they have orders for it. Fortunately it's still tasted somewhat good even though it was cold. There was no way on the order or the app to check in to say that I was there either.$42 for a cold quesadilla, a chicken caesar salad, and two drinks, plus a tip that should be taken off because we had to go inside to get our food anyway. There were three tables that had people at them when we went inside so it's not like they were slammed. This was the second and last time that we will visit this location.
