This was our first time ever going to a Cicis pizza. We join our group after a school event and my kids wanted to participate so I agreed. Upon arrival it was a madhouse as other schools had also decided to come to the same place but thats expected. Never having been, I went to the counter to ask some questions. They were nice. I wasnt going to eat, my 7 yr old only wanted pasta and my 3 yr old is free so I ordered a kids combo, $5.99 plus tax. They gave me two cups for them to get water or soda. I grabbed two bowls of pasta and a plate with one skinny slice of pizza, one piece of brownie and one piece of cinnamon roll. We sat down and ofcourse as children are, they didnt like any of it. My 7 yr old ate some pasta but thats it. I am one to feel bad for throwing food away so I did my best to eat most of it. Upon leaving, I went to refill their water and I was stopped by an employee. She said “just so you know for next time, you have to pay for your own food. You cannot eat from the kids”. So I kindly told her that I paid for a kids combo but they didn’t like it and I didnt want to throw it out and she basically accused me of lying by saying “maam we have cameras and we saw you ate the food”. I told her Im not denying eating the food but I was not going to throw it out because they didnt like it so I ate some of it. Not even all of it. So she again repeated the same and said if i wanted food, i could pay $1.50 for the pizza slice and so on. I again repeated myself and added i would pay right now for whatever she wanted. I asked her several times what was I supposed to do, throw it all out? And she said several times “yes you have to throw it out”. I was completely embarrassed and couldnt believe she had called me out for eating my kids leftovers instead of throwing it out. And to add, it was terrible and cold. First and only time ever stepping foot or eating anything...
Read moreWorst customer service experience of my life. Im stuck at work by myself today and cant leave so I ordered a pizza for delivery. Paid for it. hour goes by, the website tells me it was delivered 25 minutes ago. Got an email confirmation saying the same thing. So I called cicis and was told it was delivered also....Im at a business....nothing was delivered.....I have no pizza. Called again and asked for the manager, she told me she cannot do a refund or send out a new order, and the only thing she could do was make me a new pizza and I had to come pick it up....how does that help me at all when I told her im stuck at work by myself and cannot leave AND I PAID FOR DELIVERY ALREADY! She told me I had to file for a refund on the website, the website said any issue I had had to be dealt with at the actual restaurant, so I called back and told the manager what I was told by the website and she then told me that there is nothing she can do and that I have to contact corporate. I said so you guys basically stole $25 from me? She goes no we made you a pizza and delivered it to you. I said how is that possible when IM at a public business and have had no deliveries?!?!?!. I will be contacting corporate and disputing the charges with my bank. This is the worst service I have ever had in my entire life. What kind of business just takes money from somebody and does not render the services, tell you they did and offer you no way of rectifying the situation? Absolutely...
Read moreYou already know going into Cicis what to expect. The food is ok, it's a buffet so you sometimes have to wait for your pizza to come up (even if you order a personal one). I wanted to order a medium pizza to go when I got there because I needed to take it to the house. The guy at the register told me I wasn't allowed to order it until 10 minutes before I left. I've ordered before so I told him I'd never had that happen. So I paid for our buffet instead of arguing and 15 minutes before we left I placed the order. It took 40 minutes to get my pizza. They forgot to make it, then argued with me saying that I didn't order it so I provided the receipt to which they replied "oh" and walked away. I waited the 15 minutes they said and then once again they told me it wsnt ready. I waited 5 more minutes and another guy helped me to which he reached to the top of the oven and handed me a pizza that was made and had been sitting there. It was not fresh. I just decided to leave because I don't have time to argue with people about this. We don't go often but I don't know if I will be back, it was just too many employees arguing with me about if I can order a pizza or when I...
