PLEASE READ FULL POST . I want to start off saying I have been going to this location for as long as I have lived in the temple terrace area (years) , and I have never had an experience like I did on Monday. I will say this location has always had its flaws ( running out of food, not turning on the open light at night time, short of workers etc) but I still wouldn't say it was the worst. However , this Monday I went in at 5pm , there was only 1 employee (Her name is Pam , come to find out she is the store manager and a line of 7 customers including myself (3 people and 2 children who were in front of me and one customer behind me) , which I wasn't upset about , I am willing to wait, so I waited for about 20 minutes, as she made the sandwiches I noticed she would start making one, and then take the bread out for the next but leave it sitting there uncovered while finishing the previous customers order AND transaction So when she got to me she asked what kind of bread , and she took it out and asked what type of sandwich and I told her TUNA and then she went to finish the previous customers sandwich , BUT I asked politely for her to cover my bread with a piece of sandwich paper (not too much to ask) so she immediately had an attitude and told me to hold on , I did for about 5 sec then she said "& I think we are out of tuna" with an attitude , then covered my bread, I told her " ok I can wait for you to check if you have some , but you can finish their (customer before me who sandwich she still hadn't finished) sandwich first and then she snaps at me saying "I know what im doing !" I laughed and said ok because im in shock that in front of everyone she was rude , and even a customer behind me commented on how rude she was and an attitude she has, I didn't respond just waited for her to finish , then when she finally got to my bread, she went to the back , barely stepped in the freezer , closed it and said we don't have tuna (she was lying) but I said ok I will get a spicy Italian, she made my sandwich, with an attitude the whole time, I let her cash me out , as she gave me my change I politely asked for her name and the corporate number and how I didn't appreciate how rude she was to me, she said "ok ma'am , that's our policy and how we are trained" , im puzzled like you are trained to be rude ? so I asked again for her to just give me my change, her name, and number for corporate , she walked off as I was talking, so I asked 2 more times, then she yells im not giving you nothing ! and saying whatever ad some other rude comments about how its a franchise (im not dumb I know that).
anyways she never gave me the information , I got the corporate number from google and called them and gave them all complaint info , and I am supposed to be hearing back from the store owner which I haven't yet. my point is , I wasn't mad they "ran out of tuna" it was her attitude towards everything, she never even greeted me , and she is always rude with others when I go in , this just happen to be her first time making my sandwich.
people need to understand if they don't like working in customer service, further your education so you don't have to make sandwiches at 50 years old, giving customers attitude all of the time.
I go in not only paying for food, but for the service also , and I shouldn't be inconvenienced to drive to another location because of one person.
this subway has its ups and downs but this "manager" needs to be taken care of, she is bad for business. I hope to be hearing from real management soon , or I will file multiple complaints until I do this is...
Read moreIf I could rate this location a DOUBLE ZERO, I certainly would. The customer service is terrible. Pam, the alleged manager, is the worst. I made an online order and came in to pick it up. The order had NOT been prepared and Pam was preparing my sandwich as I came in. As I watched her prepare the sandwich, I politely asked for a little more lettuce to be added to the sandwich. Pam immediately got an attitude and aggravated.
She said to me “don’t you make an online order and come in here and start making requests. If you want your sandwich a special way, you can just come back here and prepare it yourself.”
Over lettuce, lady? I then requested that she stop preparing my order and refund me immediately. Her temperament was so uncalled for and she was unapologetic about her behavior. I will be trying to contact her GM. She was the worst Subway employee I’ve ever met. DO NOT patronage this Subway nor have Pam prepare your meal. She should be in the back baking bread or prepping. Pam should NEVER interact...
Read moreWhen we arrived, there was 1 person ahead of us. There were 2 people working. The female appeared to be working on a written order, looking at the paper frequently. Since I have no way of knowing if she was in training, or new I would just be guessing that she needed help. She was going extremely slow. The male was making 1 sandwich for the person in front of us. I was not impressed with the speed of service and the cleanliness of the serving area. Another man arrived and decided to finish our order. He was verbally critical of "first shift". Tossing there tip jar into the next room and telling me that they never have things right. Basically I think a manager might want to do a little team training. Or staff re training. As a customer I don't want to listen to the disparaging remarks. But I also don't want to spend 32 minutes in a subway line with 1 customer in front of me. The sandwich itself...
