I hate to ruin the day but...these cookies were not my cup-of-tea. I have been craving peanut butter cookies for 3 days now and was wrestling with the fact that I could definitely purchase a pack of break-and-bakes for the cost of one cookie. I just recently had surgery and didn't want to hobble around the grocery store. My decision was to try this establishment for the first time. When I searched for peanut butter cookies on Google Maps, a customer review said the peanut butter cookies were delicious. I set off on my journey for a peanut butter cookie. I arrived to the store and quickly learned that although they have the special needs parking spot and ramp, you are definitely on your own with the abnormally heavy door (definitely should loosen the hydraulic mechanism). There were no workers up front. I assumed correctly and used the little monitors on the countertop. No peanut butter cookie. NO PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE. That's a cookie staple. Chocolate chip, sugar and peanut butter cookies are your everyday cookies. Sometimes Snickerdoodle (spelling) and oatmeal raisin. I was confused and irritated all at the same time š. Irritated because it has been hot as heck lately and here I am hobbling around on a quest for a peanut butter cookie that I KNEW I could get right around the corner from the grocery store for a MUCH cheaper price but instead I wanted to embark on a new adventure to a cookie shop 15 minutes out of the way with a HEAVY door and mediocre customer service š”...šš...serves me right (southern terminology). I ordered my son chocolate chip and myself a sugar cookie. I honestly don't remember what the other cookie was...it's all a blur. A young worker from the back came up with a box, looked at me, I think she said something to the terms of "here you go" and walked away. I grabbed my walker (what I'm currently using to get around) and my box and made my way to the door. A random customer from an adjoining restaurant offered her assistance. I thanked her and shuffled to the car. Got home and cooled down for a bit before I opened the box. The cookies are thick... almost cake-like. I attempted to eat at least half before giving in. I didn't make it that far. I am kinda glad that they didn't have peanut butter cookies because, for me, there is a thing as "too much". I honestly don't like the dense cookie. To each his (or her) own. It's just not me. I knew the price was going to be "up there" so I won't comment directly on that. Indirectly though, the economy has taken a turn. Many employers have not increased wages to match the uptick in goods. Many consumers aren't as free with their money as they used to be. If you want to stay afloat, customer service is starting to become a huge factor. Overall...it was a basic visit. If you love a lot of dough in every bite...then this is your spot. Just don't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI preordered my cookies to get the pumpkin square, smores brownie and iced oatmeal earlier on in the day to pick up at 7pm. When I arrived the pumpkin square was sold out and the employee said they do not save cookies for you like that on the app. NOWHERE in the app does it say you canāt presave for cookies and pick up at a later time. I asked if I could get a refund, she said āno sorry we canāt do thatā and then I asked if I could cancel my order and she replied with āno sorry we canāt do that either.ā So youāre telling me I PREPAID before hand in the app, also tipped $2, just to not receive my desired orderā¦. Thatās terrible customer service and service in general. She did offer a free cookie voucher for me to get the pumpkin square for when itās available( even though I already paid for it) , but what is the point of pre ordering online when you canāt even get the desired cookie you prepaid for? Iām very dissatisfied with the service and lack of concern/ care for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible customer service. I love Crumbl but will not come to this store even though itās the closest to my house. I ordered through the crumbl app and the order was never delivered. I called them and they refused to help were extremely rude and said I had to call DoorDash even though I placed the order on the crumbl app and had no contact with DoorDash. I called DoorDash and they said the store would have to refund me. The store put me through a 30 minute ordeal (in which I still donāt have a refund) over cookies they could have just refunded in the first place. Now I have to waste more time reporting it with my bank.
Update: DoorDash and crumbl corporate have both instructed me by email to continue calling the store to get my refund even when I have told them multiple times that this store refused. Donāt ever go to this store or order delivery through the crumbl app because it will be a nightmare to get a refund when...
