I regret to say that my experiences at this Popeyes location have consistently been disappointing. Despite its proximity to my home, I find myself questioning why I keep returning. Unfortunately, I can't recall a time when my order was delivered in a timely manner.
Using the app has been particularly frustrating--after waiting over 20 minutes after ordering before heading to the restaurant, I've often found that customers who ordered after me receive their meals first. On several occasions, the staff couldn't even locate my order when I showed it on my phone. Moreover, roughly 75% of the time, my order has been incorrect, and I've frequently encountered items that are out of stock. On my last visit, they were out of chicken fillets and had to prepare my ghost pepper chicken sandwich with chicken tenders instead.
I placed my order at 3:13 PM with a promised pickup time of 3:25 PM, but when I arrived at 3:41 PM, my order was still not ready. I felt ignored as the staff prioritized other customers, and when I asked about my order, I received zero acknowledgment. Another customer, who was also waiting for their order, shared my sentiments about the slow service. He told me "wow she totally ignored you"
After waiting an additional five minutes for assistance, I inquired again, only to see the staff turn to someone else without addressing me. Eventually, I was told that my order was being prepared, but the lack of communication was frustrating. There wasn't even anybody eating inside. There was just four people waiting. One of the gentlemen leaving said that he had to wait 30 minutes for his order.
Moving forward, I think I will choose to visit the Popeyes on I-35 instead, as my experiences here have consistently fallen short. I encourage others to consider the reviews--many people may not feel compelled to share their experiences, but they can reflect a larger trend. This is the first time in my 58 years that I have felt the need to express my dissatisfaction so openly, as I usually prefer to let things go. Unfortunately, the repeated issues with my orders and service have compelled me to speak up.
Additionally, I had requested that the staff not staple my bag so I could check my order, but she totally ignored me again and stapled the bag anyway.
I hope that my feedback can contribute to improvements at...
Read moreThis is the absolute worst managed restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of patronizing. I counted 8 visits in a row that we received the wrong food or missing one of the meals we paid for since they opened. Today, we went through the drive-thru, and the lady taking the orders was horribly rude and short-tempered while taking the order, leading me to get frustrated and forgetting to order a drink for my son. When I got to the window, she was just as sour-faced as her voice sounded, and I nicely asked if I could add a drink to the order that I forgot, and she cut me off, said, extremely rudley, "No. No, no, you can't add anything at the window, we are short staffed and only have 2 people working" and proceeded to hand me the drinks I had ordered and closed the window. At least this time we actually got our entire order! And before anyone says, "then just stop going there!", NO. We LIKE the food, we enjoy the flavor alot, and there is no reason we should have to endure being treated rudley and not getting WHAT WE PAID FOR, just to have something that we enjoy and pay our hard earned money to have. And before anyone says to be patient because everyone is short-staffed, I HAVE been patient. This is the first time I've publicly complained, after SO many bad experiences. The fact is, I worked in food-service for 10 years, and it didn't matter if we were short staffed, exhausted, had a headache, or were dealing with significant personal issues, we treated our customers with RESPECT, and used professional customer service skills! That standard is clearly no longer employed anywhere in customer service positions and ESPECIALLY at this Popeye's location. I would like to see a change, either in management, staff, or policy. I would like to see someone actually do what's right, and I am sick of people being allowed to act this way with no consequences. No, I don't want to be compensated with a "Free chicken sandwich on your next visit" coupon, I want to see people disciplined, fired and the entire restaurant be overhauled with people that actually value work ethic and politeness. I'm done with this. It's time we...
Read moreSomeone has to help me understand how this place can be run so poorly. The staff are rude. They are slow. We have been here about 15 times every time we try and order the macaroni. We have only ever been able to get it once. 1/15. Finally I ask why. I'm told it takes about an hour and six minutes to make. How do you not have a batch constantly being made, a rotation something anything. What upsets me is I place the order in the app and show up every time "the last person just got a large" so help me understand what was your plan. Why do you not have more being made right this moment. I ask how long until the next batch assuming they planned ahead. He says an hour and six minutes. So you what make one batch a day and call it good? So I show up and am told I can have fries or beans or potatoes. That stuff is gross and I want none of it. So half of the cost of my order EVERY SINGLE TIME I'm settling for stuff I didn't order and don't want. No one in my house will eat that mess. Do better. Absolutely awful. Sad thing is I've never come the same time of day! It doesn't matter lunch, dinner at opening I could understand closing but bro. It's 2.
They had me pull up and park me. For these substitute fries. Since I've been in the parked area four cars behind me have pulled up to the order box and driven off. No one wants their meal and to settle for half of what they want. I can guarantee my food will be cold. It's already no what I want.
You would have so many more orders and way more profit if you just had everything ready. A plan. Better staff. This was awful.
