This has got to have the rudest employees working at at DQ in Texas.Today i was in Killeen on Stan shlutter at Dq taking advantage of the free ice cream promotion.meet the greatest and friendliest people in drive thru.i was on my way to the hospital to get my mom and sister.they wanted the free ice cream do we stopped at the 31st location in temple.Texas..the line was long but expected.we get to the drive thru order point the lady was having trouble understanding me i tried to speak louder and clearer.i ordered a blizzard and fries they said they don't make they tropical blizzard that she got rid of it.so i ordered another kind.i ordered fries a medium.she states they only have sm.or LG.so i get the LG.i don't know if this is true since the other Dq sells med.and tex size.i continue to order the free icecream for them.before i could ask anything else she gives me a total and tells me to pull to the window.so i didn't get to try the red dip cone or yellow with the code i had on my phone.also while in the drive thru another employee comes out to smoke older lady with red and gray mixed color hair only to complain about the customers and the free ice cream.i won't type what she said but it was not appropriate.So i say how dare DQ give out free cones and pay somebody and make them earn that check today stop it they want to get paid to do almost nothing.so i get to the window and theguy tells me the total i show him my app for a free blizzard the girls rolls her eyes says something to him i tellhim i tried to explain this when i ordered from the being the blizzard.i didn't want to cause a hold up in the line any further.But she should have approached me since she saidshe couldn't understand me to make sure everything was correct.plus it's thier job to make money for the company to maximize the sell.unlike the Killeen store where i paid for the dip added i didn't even get that option here since she never asked nor have me a chance since she cut me off.If these are the type of people that work here i will not be visiting this location again and i will make it my job too keep sells down as i will tell others.So disappointed with this place.glad the homeless guy wad at the corner so somebody could enjoy the free icecream.i was so p.o. i didn't even want a free nothing.but the homeless guy said to...
Read moreSo I went through the drive through on 5-29 @ about 8 pm. There was no light on at the drive thru sign. Me & my Mother waited patiently for about 15 minutes before realizing it probably doesn't work, so I drove around & waited about about 15 minutes before I reached the window & asked the latina lady @ the window if I could order there because I don't think the drive thru was working as nobody came on & the light was off. She said NO very rudely, didn't even greet us to say hello, how are we, nothing. I said but nobody even said Ill be right with you or to hold on or nothing so I assumed it didn't work, can I just order here? She said no, we were backed up, & that's how it is, u gotta come inside or go all the way around again. No smile, no Hello. She said most people just wait. I'm like how do we know to wait if u never even came on to say anything? Anytime a light is off & no one speaks its either not working or closed. My poor Mom has dementia & all she wanted was an ice cream cone before I dropped her off at home. So I took her to McDonalds, Thank God they were nice & professional even tho we had to wait in a longer line. Customer service is everything! It will make customers want to return or not return. That lady needs to be trained to work Customer Service. I worked Customer Service including drive through for years. Never did I treat anyone in that manner! You always let the customer know you will be with them shortly I hadn't run into that. My food was great minus the large shake i ordered missing a good amount of ice cream. Anyway, the Hispanic lady at the window was incredibly helpful fixing the mistake that was made while I was ordering. The African lady however was incredibly rude when taking my order. Sighing and having an attitude while I was trying to order. Then when I said thank you all she said was ill have your total at the window. Okay fine, cool. No worries. Then when I got to the window the Hispanic lady was going to hand me an oreo cheese cake shake and I let her know that wasn't mine. And then the African lady came up anf was saying that I ordered an oreo cheese cake shake. I dont know how you mix up new York with oreo but okay? "No, she SAID oreo." Twice. With an attitude and raising her voice. Then she took my payment and proceeded to raise her voice and repeat herself saying my total. Idk what I did to this lady but I was nice and respect all while dealing with her being rude to me. I, as a cashier/customer service worker, understand that my position consists of kindness and helping people have a good day. This woman does not care about her customers. I really did not appreciate this, and I will NOT be coming back. Totally uncalled for. Must have been having a bad day, but that had nothing to do with me.
