I called ahead several days before our reservation date. Was told it was handicapped accessible and to park in the back. When we arrived there was no parking in back so we just parked on the grass. No signs or directions as to where to go in. A lady came around to one of the cars and I asked where we were to go in. She said this door and to my amazement it was right thru their tiny kitchen while they were preparing food. We were seated at a table in the lobby where the other guests stand and sit waiting to be seated. The next strange thing was the hostess started putting on her make-up right there in the lobby while she was waiting to seat guests. The food we had was OK but nothing special. The soup was very thin and didn't have a tomato taste but more of an herb taste. The quiche was kinda runny like it wasn't done. Everything could have been more attractive. We were not offered hot tea at all. The dishes were all mismatched and very uninviting. I didn't see a tea pot or any tea cups anywhere. It was like a three ring circus when we went to pay the bill. One lady had it then another and then she went into another room with the bill and then came back waving the bill saying "I have your bill, you can pay it here". We went out thru the kitchen and probably...
ย ย ย Read moreNot what was expected. Very disappointed. Called a week ahead to make reservations for my daughter's 10th birthday that loves tea and has been wanting me to take her here cause her grandma had. The lady on the phone said since it was a special day she would put us in the Princess Room, have a chalk board with Happy birthday on it with my daughter's name on it and at the end she would give her a piece of cake. None of that happened. We got there and told our names they took us to a table not in the princess room which I explained so they said oh it's full of Christmas decor right now. I understand its the holidays and all but could you not have planned this a little better seeing I called ahead of time. Then they said we could go in the Elvis room which was cute and my daughter thought it was funny. Service was ok but they were pretty busy. I felt like we were upstairs away from everyone else and forgotten about. When we were finished eating I went downstairs to see about getting a piece of cake and she said they would have to see if they would do that for us. We never got a piece of cake I finally paid and left. Just don't tell someone your going to do something special and not follow through. Very...

We were seated immediately and within a few minutes, I realized I was having a severe allergic reaction to the special dessert of the day- peanut butter pie. (I have a rare allergy which means I cannot even be in the same facility as peanut products.) Although I wanted to stay and enjoy our lunch, I knew it could end up sending me to the hospital. My friend encouraged met to go outside while she arranged our food to go. The owner of the facility knew we wanted to stay so went out of her way to set up a table and chairs, with an umbrella, for us outside. She and our waitress's first concern was for my well-being. They showed great concern for me and we were checked on several times. The service was absolutely incredible and the chicken salad is the best I have had! I am grateful they did all they could to make me feel welcome, when it could have turned out...
