Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Tennessee

I think we are finally done with this Papa Johns. Today we ordered two items; an order of cheese sticks with GARLIC SAUCE, and an extra large modified veggie. I paid for several extra toppings on the pizza; extra cheese, double mushroom, and I asked for LIGHT sauce. We ordered this pizza a few months ago and it was loaded with sauce, skimpy on the cheese and toppings. So, today right after the order was placed, I called the store to request that the pizza actually have DOUBLE mushrooms, LIGHT SAUCE, and EXTRA CHEESE. I chose the phone option for a manager. I spoke with a lady named Ariel, I asked if she was indeed the store manager, she said no, but assured me she could handle whatever I needed. I explained the issue, last time we ordered this pizza we didn’t get it as ordered and it has to be remade. She blew me off. Said the pizza will be made EXACTLY as written, and always has been. I told her it had to be remade last time, and I’d really like to avoid that this time. Fast forward to delivery; we have cheese sticks with PIZZA sauce and not the garlic sauce we ordered. We also have an extra large modified veggie with THREE half slices of mushroom, skimpy cheese, and LOADED with sauce. Thanks, Ariel. The only reason we gave two stars is because of Avery. Upon my second call, and explaining the situation, Avery issued a refund, and we will order something else for dinner. If a customer calls and asks that something be made correctly due to being incorrect prior, get up and ensure the order is made properly. My husband and I order from the online app and normally have not had issues with our order being delivered all the way to our door step. The last two times we have ordered pizza from this location, the delivery drivers have had to call us to ask us to come to them to get our pizza, not them coming to our door to deliver it. The first experience we had, I met the delivery driver in the parking lot of my apartment building where I was told “I’ve been to every level of your building and couldn’t find your apartment number.” I explained to the driver that every door was numbered and found it hard to believe that she couldn’t find it. She then replied “Well, I looked and sorry for the delay.” The experience from today’s order was the driver contacted me and spoke to husband. My husband was told by the delivery driver that she too could not find our apartment building because it didn’t show up on her GPS. My husband explained to her that our past delivery drivers, prior to the previous experience, have never had issues finding our apartment and completing the delivery. We are not sure if the drivers are new or are just being lazy because the whole point of a delivery is that they bring it to my home, not me having to go to them. Papa John's has been one of my favorite pizza places since I first encountered in college 30 years ago. Fresh ingredients really do make a difference. Love the pepperoncini included in each pizza. This particular Papa John's is always one I can count on. They are fast but always accurate. The pizza is almost always ready as soon as I get there, and even if it isn't, it's not long. There's normally a friendly face waiting for me at the pickup counter, or one quick to arrive when I walk on. I appreciate the consistency and high quality level of Papa John's in general, and this store in particular.

Our favorite pizza these days is a thin crust Works with a three cheese blend minus onions and mushrooms, add tomatoes and green olives.
