Hands down the best model and anime toy store in Knoxville. This place is a hidden jewel, literally! They are located in the back of an office building (E building). It's like entering through some kind of fantasy portal. You walk through a generic, boring office building, with boring office colors (almost monochrome). Work you're way to the back of the building, turn a corner, then BAM! There's this entrance full of color where you're peering into a world of models and toys. My boys and I had a blast looking through their selection. Some of the models and toys I've been looking for and haven't found anywhere else in Knoxville were there and were so well priced. You could get most of their models off Amazon Prime for the same price BUT! That means you'd have to have paid for a prime subscription (more money) or pay for shipping (more money). So they are competitively priced. They are also very well organized, it was easy to find what we were looking for. It's the perfect place to get an anime themed gift for somebody (8+) or toy for Christmas or a birthday. Today we went looking for a friend and walked out with two Gundam model kits. I will most definitely be revisiting this place for myself and my boys in the future. Go check them out, they don't really advertise so word-of-mouth is how people find this place. Check them out and tell your friends! I will update this review with pictures...
Read moreGreat selection of Funkos, Figs, and other things. However, my experience here will be cut short. Destiny seems very nice and more understanding, John seems to only care about the money. I explained to him how I could have saved at least 20-30$ with his 25% off promo and trade in but he was uninterested because it was "cheaper", I got what I wanted and I still feel robbed. Sure Utopia made more money out of this deal his way, but also lost a potential repeat customer who had every intention to come back. Other than that, some more customer interaction would be good too. Addressing their response: I didn't get set percentage, I was given a number and I found the percentage myself, which was 55% of what I had brought to them. Basic math.105$ Credit is what I was offered for 3 Pops. I had my eye on 2 Pops which were 105$ and 170$, okay common sense would be 105$+170$=275$ total "value", store promo being 25% off makes it 78.75$+142.50=221.25$, minus the 105$ credit makes it 116.25$ plus state sales tax. Instead of doing it that, he wanted charge me full price for 1 Pop, not honoring the 25% off, and come up with some bogus "gaming the system" excuse. It was common sense,...
