We stopped here traveling through Tennessee on Christmas Eve. A lot of places were closed or closing soon, so we put our order in online in order to assure we’d have our food before the location closed at 7pm. When we arrived, they were fairly busy, so there was a bit of a wait to pick up our order. After a wait, the store employees made everyone in the store aware that they’d run out of just about all meats for sandwiches. We had no idea this affected us as we’d placed our order over a half hour earlier. We then found out that our order had not been started and the lady working started being rude because they were closing in less than 5 minutes. Although our order was already paid for, they were out of everything we ordered. We tried to compromise and sought alternatives based on the ingredients they did have available, but the lady refused indicating she wasn’t allowed to swap out orders. I was a bit astonished and asked how did they plan to fulfill our already purchased order, if they weren't allowed to change anything? She had to call the store manager for authorization to change our order (which the store was closed by this time). We noticed she never took her gloves off while using her personal cellphone to call her manager. When we requested she put on new gloves before making our sandwiches, she became completely belligerent. We had never been so embarrassed in our lives! All we asked is that she practiced safe, hygienic and sanitary food preparation practices and she had a fit.
At this point, we canceled our order and asked for a refund (which she again had to call her manager for a tutorial). After all of this, she then refused to give us a copy of the refund receipt.
What. A. Disaster!
Still waiting on a response from the GM. He didn’t seem to be concerned much.
Shame on Subway for condoning such unsafe practices considering we are still at the tail end...
Read morei’ve never had such a terrible customer service in a Subway ever before my life. The lady that was working there by herself, was so rude that it makes me never wanna eat Subway sandwich again I placed two orders one of them. She somehow could not find I was charged twice on my card and she refused to even look at it she said unless there’s a confirmation email well she called the manager while I was looking for the email and he told me that I needed to leave so therefore if you want terrible customer experience go to the subway if you want a rude employee who from the get-go just tells you what she can to get you to leave because it’s gonna be 30 or 45 minutes before you even say hello that’s rude the manager you need to learn how to run a businessman you didn’t even give me a chance to talk and then told me I needed to leave and you said I’d have her refund in 7 to 10 days. I have no way of knowing that there’s no confirmation that I’m gonna receive a refund if I don’t receive a refund I’ll be going to the Better Business Bureau , you might wanna actually hire some employees you can handle what they’re doing and Care about helping employees instead of just trying to get everybody to leave because she doesn’t know how to handle her job. No, I have to sit here with no food while my boyfriend has a sandwich. thankfully, he’s gonna give me half of his because you know what he’s a decent human being and actually you don’t care about other people and not just trying to get everybody to leave because she can’t handle her job which is exactly what she was doing. She just didn’t wanna make the sandwich because she was busy and that was it. Not to mention the fact that Paul through the garbage looking through receipts, and then...
Read moreYou know when you encounter a situation that was so bad it's almost laughable? I ordered online via app. I went in about 14 mins later. Employee that was out smoking asked me if I was going in, I nodded, then she asked if I was serious and informed me that she had just gotten the rush. She angrily stormed/stomped inside. After a decade in service industry, I understood the struggle and told her that if she needed a minute to take a minute. She then muttered something under her breath, I then came to and decided I didn't want this person making my food. I told her to forget it and walked out, she chased me outside to get my name, to not make my food. I called store trying to get my refund, she told me to go through website. I sent a request with order number, no response. I ended up disputing it through PayPal. What happened next was the icing on the cake. I reached out to local office just out of concern that the next person may not tell person to take a minute, she was as shocked as I was, said some one would call in a few days. I waited a couple weeks, informed her no one called and she obviously remembered me. She said they'd call, no one ever did. At this point, I'm not as let down by employee as I am by management who don't take accountability. The problems arise at the top, if you don't feel concerned that this was the experience someone had, you shouldn't be in business. I haven't been back to that Subway or any other one for that matter. I hope...
