Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Terre Haute

On Sunday May 6 my 16 ur old daughter went to work to find there was no one there so she comes home calls the boss Richard he said 3 people call in I here now my husband took her back.when we pick her up at 5 she comes out gets in an busted out bawling so I tell my husband to stop I want to hear what's wrong she continues to tell me that The owner Richard an her work alone til 3 she said he yell at her several times because she didn't no were certain things was I mind you this was her 4th day and all the girls would ever let her do is dishes she said he slammed boxes she had to go into bathroom because she didn't want to cry in front of customer. She is scared to death of him I do plan to talk to someone she will not be going back there more to this story but can't put on fb til we meet with? Richard I just want you to no I adopted this girl 5yrs ago she was very abuse and for you to treat her the way you did you should be blaming your workers that trained her you didn't have the right to treat my daughter the way you did.this...

Really disappointed in this Dairy Queen. It’s the closest one to our home so we used to go a lot. Now we won’t. We waited in line for 10 minutes just to watch the teenager help some kid who walked up to the window (when the line was back to the street) and then not only looked me in the eye, but proceeded to close the window and not help anyone else. Then, the window where everyone was standing, just closed their window and went about their business. There’s never a sense of urgency and I get it, blizzards take a while, but it’s just rude to not help anyone else and have no sense of urgency when it’s one of the hottest days of the summer so far. I expected more, but I guess that’s what you get when you only allow teenagers to work your location and not have a manager on staff who makes them work...

My mom and I have visited this location and each time we have gone this summer, the texture of the ice cream is somewhat frothy, tastes almost spoiled. The first time we visited this summer, we informed the manager as we noticed someone else was reporting the same complaint. It was obvious he was not going to address the issue, as his Co-worker translated. We tried to be fair and give them another chance, ..but no more. The last time, the ice cream still tasted "off" and as we were pulling away, the female, dark haired employee was picky her nose! Appeared she was digging to find the good ice cream we used to all know and love. Do better DQ and...
