Most of the time I'm happy with the service and product at this location. Normally, my only complaint at this specific location would be that when I ask for no onions they also go lite on the ketchup. Today I was guilty of going to McDonald's for breakfast and lunch. At breakfast I ordered a coke and received a diet coke. For lunch I ordered a coke and tasted it before I drove away. It was also diet. I told Mike at the drive thru that it was diet. He proceeds to tell me that it was coke, but if I don't like it I can pick another flavor. I changed to Sprite, but it was obvious to me that likely whoever changed the soda syrup connected a diet to the coke spout, so I called to inform the manager. I used to manage at a food company and I, personally, would want to know that I'd been serving my customers diet instead of regular for at least 7 hours. Mike answered said he was the manager and I tried to explain that he's been serving diet instead of regular today. He said he remembered me and that it wasn't diet and then tried to explain how it was regular coke. After pointing out that coke isn't that dark it's more carmel colored and diet has a different smell and I used to drink diet so I know what each of them tastes like, he again told me I was wrong. I was honestly just annoyed and decided I'd never go there specifically for a coke classic (especially if over 7 hours no one working there noticed the difference in color or smell.) Problem solved. I only decided to leave this message, because while cleaning my kitchen, I just dumped the original "coke" and immediately smelled that diet coke smell which annoyed me all over again. Then it occured to me the Mike may actually not be a manager and another manager may want this info. So this is for that person/manager, if indeed Mike is not the manager. I'm...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband and I had a TERRIBLE experience in the drive thru just now. We spent over 20min in the drive thru from the time we got in line to getting our food. The woman taking our order had to ask my husband multiple times what our order was. We get up to the window to pay and the woman just says our total and takes our card. No "hi", no nothing. We get up to the second window to get our food and the woman had to ask us what our drinks were. We told her a Coke and a caramel iced coffee. She goes to make my coffee and comes back to ask "caramel macchiato?". We repeated our drink order. Then she asked us what food we ordered. Like how do you not even know what we ordered?? We told her and she shut the window just to come back and tell us to pull forward. We wait a few minutes just for another woman to come and ask us what our order was. We wait a few more minutes and FINALLY get our food just for our order to be wrong, even after my husband had to repeat it multiple times. The food definitely wasn't worth the wait and lousy service. Also, there were multiple vehicles in front of us that all got pulled forward to so there were 5+ vehicles parked and waiting for food. It was awful. There was no...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI understand times are hectic and stressful. Iāve worked in customer service for multiple years. On multiple visits Iāve placed orders through the drive-through. The last six or seven times or more Iāve had some issue. Iāve had them be rude to me. They have messed up my order every time. They look at me like I'm crazy when I order a large cup of ice. They fill it half full because of the "machine" when I'm being charged. (Can't they do it manually somehow where they don't have to rely on a machine to do something so simple). I pay for a large cup of ice and would like to get what I pay for and it to be full. If it's not going to be full then I won't get a large cup. (That's the same amount as a medium). I'm not usually the person to do this. (the phone number was also not valid when I tried to call. There is a suchthing as constructive criticism). But the issues are still happening. The performance of the restaurant is not the same as the other McDonalds in Terre Haute.this once was more convenient for me to go to. I think I'll be taking my business elsewhere until the location can get their...
