Sonic is my favorite fast food restaurant especially here locally and it had been this location. This evening I used the app, it doesn't allow you to change out toast for a bun. I prefer this to be done with my sandwich which I have done as a loyal customer for years. That said the last three times I have used the app I have simply asked for them to switch it when I arrived and they did without difficulty, again until tonight. I arrived buzzed in and asked if be done. The young man stated there would be "an up charge" I stated that was fine (even though I've never paid one before). I then waited on my order for 15-20 min without communication. My order arrived without the change being made. I buzzed in again stating that since the sandwich had not been made as I requested i needed to order one as I had requested. The manager then interceded and told me there was an upcharge. I explained I was willing to pay it and had told the young man I had said I would pay it and then received no further communication. She said they could not apply the charge (not sure why I'm sure they can do a "bun" charge on a new order). She then told me she would make it but this was the "only time" as if I were a child. No further communication occured as I sat waiting to see if I was being brought a new sandwich or what might be taking place. (Since I had said I was ordering a replacement). Finally a new sandwich was brought to me and even though I was not trying to scam an extra sandwich and did not care. They requested the other sandwich back to make it clear that I would not be allowed to scam them. This is very unfortunate, I've always appreciated this location for good food, good service, and until now friendly employees. I hope they were just having a bad night but regardless my rating will stand. Read moreI love , love , love sonic i was so sad the one in delaware where i live closed down. So during our road trip we seen a sign for Sonic and i just had to go. So we ordered and our food came out, i ordered mine with out onions. My burger came with a crapfull of onions. i used to work at sonic so i thought , o ppl make mistakes , ill just ask for another one. When I pushed the button to inform them that my burger was wrong, the person that answered didnt even listen to me. She said ill pull up your order and have a new one sent out. Ok fine then. Then the carhop brought my new burger out and i asked her if she could bring me some ketchup. Once i looked at my new burger. It was completely wrong they gave me a number 1 instead of the number 2 I ordered. The carhop came back with my ketchup and i informed her it was still wrong. At this point i had to go, so i asked for my money back. She said " i cant do that , i can have another one made" For the fear of someone spitting in my food because i have complained 3 times now, I just said no its ok ill eat it. Once i bit into the burger 🍔 there was so many onions in it i almost vomited🤢. They not only gave me the wrong burger twice but didnt even fix the first request i asked for. WHICH WAS NO ONIONS PLEASE!!!!! So i went in the store to speak with a manager, i asked for my Money back and she wouldn't give it to me. I was like I gave you both burgers back. Finally after 5 mins she gave me $4 back which was way less then what I paid. But what ever i had to go so i took the money and left. This Sonic is something else and needs better training and management.

Read moreI recently stopped in for a quick lunch before heading out to my next doctor appointment. I had never paid at the menu board before and had great difficulty. I am a senior citizen and sometimes have difficulty with certain things. Brianna (I think that was her name) came out with my food. Took my card and went inside to run my card for me. She came back and my card was declined. I knew that was wrong because today was my payday. Now mi d you, I had already eaten a few of the fries and felt so bad. I never carry cash and was so completely embarrassed. I tried to get them to hold my food while I went to the bank but was told to keep it. I went to the bank next to them but again my card is declined. I am in tears now. I go back to Sonic and tried to come up with enough change to pay for the fries and the drink. The manager came out and told me to take the food that it would be her good deed for the day. All I could do was just sit and cry. What a wonderful crew of lovely ladies you have at that store! I finally get back in my car to head in the opposite direction of the bank I had just visited. Low and behold, there is my bank. I go to the drive up and was able to pull out the money I needed to pay for my food. I go back and call Brianna back to my car and handed her the money. What a caring and wonderful place!
