Meadows Cafe' — Restaurant in Terre Haute

My 1st time here was a real treat. I am on a keto diet and wanted to eat here to try Meadows Cafe. I asked for a Angus bacon burger with hot cheese to be changed to a burger with no hot cheese (don't like hot cheese), but still wanted bacon with a lettuce bed to use as a bun. I got coleslaw as my side. The waitress, Megan, a very sweet girl, said I don't even know what a keto diet is, but I will sure get you what you want. My dinner was delicious, and made for me "special" with no problems at all. I gave this Cafe a 5 star, because the meal was simply delicious, I was treated special with my meal without any trouble, we were served in a very timely manner, and the waitress made sure we were happy by stopping by to fill our glasses and asking if we needed anything else. Their meal was so good I ate every bite and was so full, if not I would have tried one of their excellent sounding desserts ! I would recommend this Meadows Cafe...

Went there for lunch with a friend today. Restaurant was clean with a nice environment. Waitress nice and friendly. I ordered Country fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and my friend ordered the Tenderloin with onion rings. After ordering I asked the waitress for a couple of to go menus because I work close to there and we order delivery quite often. She brought them out and said they deliver with a $50 minimum....which we usually have10-15 people order so that's not a problem. Then when she delivered our food my Chicken was burnt to a Crisp and my friend's Tenderloin was VERY well done and his onion rings were Very dark Brown! They DID NOT CHARGE ME for my meal and offered to make me something else but I declined! Who ever their cook is cost...

Locally owned and operated by a family from the Hoosier state, Meadows Cafe offers the best breakfast in the Terre Haute area. Hands down the best food with the freshest ingredients. Popular food items include the breakfast pork or beef tenderloin with gravy including three sides, loaded cookies, or their sale out cinnamon rolls. The cafe offers local memorabilia decor and a large fish tank that kids love. Specials for the week are written on the dry erase sign in front of the restaurant while the board in the back of the restaurant offers speciality drinks. Seating is offer with chairs only no booths.
