The food was good. The business looks very clean. There is definitely a vibe of family ownership.

When I arrived, I was the only customer there; in retrospect I may have arrived close to opening. Moments after my arrival, more people came in and seated themselves (open seating is a welcomed changed from what I've become accustomed too). I was not immediately greated but shortly afterwards I was acknowledged. The staff seemed to cater more to the seated persons.but this may be due to my order being to go. I ordered two lunches. I can tell some items are from cans while others are from scratch. Tacos [ground beef]: Ground beef was good, on a scale of 1 - 10; I'd say 5/6. Taco shell: was of the mass produced variety. Lettuce & tomato: this appeared hand cut (too my liking) Cheese: seemed not hand shredded but it was good...I almost that it was a cheddar.

Rice & Beans: from a can....it the future I will avoid the beans.

Enchiladas [cheese]: I got what I asked for....definitely seemed scratch made. Not something from the freezer section.

Javier’s is hands down our favorite breakfast spot in Terrell! The atmosphere is always warm and inviting—just the kind of place that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in.

One of the things we love most is the consistency of the wait staff over the years. It’s such a comforting feeling to see familiar faces every time we visit. The staff is incredibly generous, friendly, and attentive—and if you're a regular, don’t be surprised if they remember your usual order. That personal touch goes a long way and really makes you feel valued as a customer.

⚠️❗️DO NOT EAT OR TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE TO EAT this place is literally DANGEROUS!! MY Husband & i got the most horrific food poisoning from this place on Friday night. We ate there & within 1-2 hrs we were severely & DANGEROUSLY sick for 2 days. The hospital confirmed extreme food poisoning & E coli which came from the meal we consume there. Within 2 days my husband & I have lost a total of 13 lbs between us both from the non-stop diarrhea, vomiting & fever. I thank God my children didn't eat there because I don't think they're little bodies could withstand that kind of sickness so please spare your children & find another place to eat.
