My experiences at the Burger King in Terrell, Texas have been varied. The food never is consistently good, and if I want the food made properly I have to actually explain their jobs to them. Sometimes they still don't get it right. The motto there used to be, have it your way, but now it seems to be, have the way we make it for you whether or not it's your way. The food they give me is almost never fresh, even when I ask them to make it fresh. Sometimes I think they take the freshest meat out of the garbage and reheat it. (If I'm lucky, they'll reheat it.). At least once, they've given me fries that were cooked twice. Maybe they don't understand what fresh means, but they could at least make the food properly. That means making it so that all the pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, condiments, etc. are spread out instead of all in one spot. Also, they almost never put the proper toppings on, or the proper amount of toppings. I've given up having it my way at this Burger King. Now I just order it off the menu, and still have to cross my fingers before I take a bite. And before anyone asks me why I go there, it's because they used to make really good food when I was a kid, and I keep hoping they will hire management that will fix the general apathy that I sense when I go there now. That seems to be a problem with a lot of Terrell businesses. The employees don't care, they have terrible work ethics, and management is too weak to bother fixing it. Just my two...
Read moreWe were the O N L Y people in the restaurant (dining room). There was 1 cook, and two other guys working there. That's it ! It took about 5 minutes for one of them to come take our order. As usual in most fast food places, they were more concerned with the drive thru than the counter customers. He took our order and we sat down. After 25 minutes waiting, we finally went and asked about our order, and they weren't sure what happened to it. They thought they might have given it to one of the drive thru customers. We asked for a refund, and it took forever for him to figure out how to do that. He finally did. First of all, the restaurant was WAY understaffed. You can't run a business (restaurant) effectively with that few people. Then, at least one of them needs to know what's going on and kinda run the place. That wasn't happening. Dang, that was one of the poorest excuses for a Burger King I have ever been in. Definitely won't be back here. I blame it on the owner/manager more than the employees. Someone in charge should be more in tune to what's going on there, than just handing over the reins (keys) to a few people who can't keep up or know how to get orders out...
Read moreTrying to understand why you guys pulled me around just to give me old hash browns that have been sitting there for almost 30 minutes to an hour. I understand you want to get your drive thru time down and I have no problem with helping you if you are going to help me. Not to mention I requested my croissants be heated in the microwave and they couldn’t even do that. Which brings me back to the question why pull me around? There was no one in front of me no one behind me. Ya it was to get your times down. If you’re a customer, don’t pull.
A few more things to add it was 10 when I ordered, I asked for a cup of coffee, I was told they don’t have “hot” coffee. Well you didn’t have hot food either but that didn’t stop you from serving it. You have to the coffee you’re just too lazy to make more. If you don’t feel like making it you should remove from your menu. So instead I ordered a vanilla ice coffee. Idk if they gave me mocha by accident or mixed the two but that was NASTY as well. Just overall terrible experience. Customers, if they ask you to pull up, it doesn’t mean you’re getting fresh food....
