This one star review is because of the actions of the manager. I worked at a very popular, well known ice cream store for many years. Tonight we went out for my husband’s birthday to get ice cream. The girl scooping the ice cream accidentally broke the waffle cone. She called over the manager for help. The manager stood there and proceeded to put the broken pieces of the cone back on and then gets a dish. When she goes to hand it to me, she says, well you are going to eat it anyway so it doesn’t matter. In all of my years working at an ice cream store I never once questioned remaking an ice cream cone on one that broke! The right thing to do would have been to give me a new cone. We paid extra for that waffle cone in the first place. I ended up having to dump the ice cream in a large cup and he had to wait to eat it until he got home. The manager should be thinking about the product that goes out the window but just pushing out whatever so she can...

As far as the ice cream, it's good...THEY SELL RICHARDSON'S! Besides the ice cream they...SUCK! The place smelled of cigarette smoke. The smell came from the inside, my son used the restroom and said the whole place smelled like cigarette smoke. It's so strong it smells outside. The grumpy old man was rude to my daughter who politely asked for a sample. She said, "Excuse me, can I please try the Cheesecake ice cream?" He then goes, "What, do you plan on trying all the flavors?!" He grumpily took my family's order and when he messed up he got cranky with us. He also used his bare hands to get the ice cream cones...no napkin, nothing. I'm pretty sure that's against health code, along with smoking inside a food establishment. The portions were very small and overpriced on top of it! So if you want dirty unsanitary conditions, rude service and small overpriced portions, go there. There are so many places that sell Richardson's there is no need...

Very disappointing. Used to come here a decent amount until my last visit. When I ordered and received my order it was wrong. Not sure how the person got it wrong being as they write it down on paper. Hot fudge sundae with whipped cream, hot fudge, and peanuts. Barely any hot fudge no peanuts and he asked if i wanted lids which i didn't he still put a lid on it. I also asked for kiddie chocolate in a cup with a cone on top no lid. Lid came on that as well and was in the bag with the "sundae". He man handled the spoons and placed them in the bag. Got to the car their was no cone on the kiddie ice cream. Went back to the window and he handed me a cone no paper on the cone and no napkin to hold it while handing it to me. He was cleaning the counters before i ordered. Thank you for not cleaning your hands before...
