McDonald's — Restaurant in Tewksbury

Original Review, 2018: Service was very friendly, and the food was great. Lobby was very clean as well. Definitely the best in my opinion, compared to other Mcdonald's I have been to.

Edit, November 2020: - One of the new managers isnt all that nice to customers, so only four stars for that. If you are at the least a manager, please be better to customers. I didnt understand you the first time you said my order was ready, so you didnt have to be rude about it and give me a dirty look and an attitude. Not to mention, she doesnt seem to have good social skills with any of the customers and even employees whenever I come in. I understand everyone has bad days, but if you are miserable every day that you come to work, you need to find another job. Nobody should be miserable at their job everyday. Everyone else is great, even though mistakes have happened a couple times that Ive gone lately. I used to work here, so I understand mistakes can be common especially in food service, therefore I cant be upset about that. The food is still awesome, even though prices always are rising, which happens with every McDonalds. Instead of paying 12 dollars for 3 egg mcmuffins without the ham, I have to tell them to sub an egg and cheese buscuit with round egg and a muffin which brings it down to only 7 dollars. A 5 dollar difference adds up quickly. If you know how their prices work with certain items and what to substitute, you can save a lot of money. Overall, I feel like you get better service in drive through, and everyone is great except...

I went through drive thru and menu was broken, had to go inside to order on the kiosk. I got Bacon QTR pounder meal with no cheese, pickles or ketchup. Got my food got in my car started driving back to work, took out a fry that was stone cold. I'm aggravated now. I get to work take out my burger, cheese on it and no bacon.

I immediately calledthe store and got the asst. Mgr. She was very apologetic and said I could come in at anytime for a whole new meal for free. I advised I would be in around 5:30 in the evening.

I go inside and explain to the person that came to the counter what happened and that I was told I could come in for a new meal. The person entered the meal and had someone come over to override so I didn't have to pay,

I get the new meal and guess what the burger is still wrong, I was like what the hell. There is no bacon, no mustard and maybe 3 pieces of onion. I am so aggravated at this point. I wait for someone to come to the counter and explain there is no bacon and no mustard, he takes the sandwich with attitude goes to the back and comes back with the burger. There is two pieces of bacon and a dab of mustard l, I did t dare say anything for fear they would spit on my burger or something.

When I got to my night job, I called and asked for the store managers name. I was eventually hung up on purpose. I tried calling back 23 times and no one would answer the phone.

Needless to say I will never go to the 1928 Maon Street...

I understand this place is short staffed and the employees work harder than ever so this review isn't about them so much as it is about the franchisee owner. Over the summer the ac had broken down on them and went the whole season without it being fixed and we had a very hot and very humid summer and these poor people were forced to work in conditions that were truly stuff of nightmares being over a open hot griddle and hit fryer I can't even image the agony and to top it off they were constantly being yelled at and treated like garbage because the shake machine (ice cream too) was broken almost all summer long too boot. So with that being said some of our food was cold or sloppy and the drive thru line was ridiculously long but that was again to the under staffed and over worked. Everyone I have come in contact with has been very pleasant and helpful so thank you guys. Again the franchisee owner should be ashamed of themselves and should have been forced to work in the conditions they put their employees in. I hope that in the future they do...
