UPDATE: I realized recently that this place is in some kind of area of AR where sin tax on liquor is absurd (29%) which is partially why the drink I got was so expensive. Now that being said, the drink itself was still $12.50 before tax and tip which is a bit pricy in my opinion for something that (as stated below) tasted like mostly Bailey's (they did not include ingredients on the menu when I went so I have no idea what was in the "Irish Rootbeer"). Anyway, i'd recommend just getting beer or wine if you're drinking here. Fun place. I've never seen anything else like it in TK. The decorations and the vibe we're very spot on I could tell they put a lot of effort in. I will say I feel like it is more of a beer and wine place (not a bad thing) which is honestly pretty common in TK just because that's what most people want. But basically I got a cocktail and it was fine but I just kind of wish I had gotten a beer instead because it was pretty pricey ($16 before tip) and it tasted like mostly Bailey's. And to be clear, I am not hating. I am just saying what I would probably do in the future based on my experience. Anyway, id definitely recommend checking it out. It's a unique and fun experience in a town like this and probably something I'd take out of towners to if I lived here year round.

First date night in a long time and we discovered this little gem! Get on their FB page to know how to access because had we not run into a random woman we would have had no idea how to get in and probably missed out on a real epic experience. If you like really cool local history, the place is brewing with it. David, the owner is exceptionally knowledgeable about some very interesting high profile people with roots in TXK. We happened to be there the same night a band out of St Louis (Russo & co) made a stop enroute to a gig. They can turn anything into a blue grassy feel. Believe me we were throwing everything at em...from hip hop to pop and a throwback to Elvis. They even shared one of their own tunes called Goldmine. Fantastic! Check em out on Spotify. It was a really great, local time...all the ingredients for spontaneous fun when you just never know what might happen when you walk in the door (if you can find it)

Couldn't ask for a better experience twice. I can't speak for the main courses, because I we went straight to the desert. The entertainment, service, and atmosphere were great. I can't give you a style, because it's eclectic like the crowd. Go, especially when Split Decision is playing, you won't regret it and you can people watch a nice crowd. Just make sure you have the code, it's a speakeasy. And, be cool. You'll be amazed at the happiness you get to see. We were there on a birthday night and a 40th anniversary. Great time. Thank you!

Minimal Menu, Maximum Flavor This place might keep things simple, but the food is absolutely top-notch. One of the best charcuterie boards I’ve seen anywhere — thoughtfully put together and packed with flavor. The boudin rolls were a real surprise and an absolute treat. And yes, believe it or not, the grilled cheese is a must-try. Sounds simple, but trust me — you’ll be glad you did.

The atmosphere is unmatched — it’s the kind of vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Add in great entertainment, solid drink options, and fair prices, and you’ve got a winning combo.

Now, a heads-up: the liquor taxes in Texarkana, Arkansas are no joke. It’s frustrating, but that’s on the city, not the establishment. If we want businesses like this to stick around and help revive the area, we’ve got to support them — even if we grumble about the tax at checkout.

All in all, a hidden gem well worth visiting. And don't forget, the bartenders and servers are remarkable, so take...
