Discovery Place Interactive Museum — Attraction in Texarkana

Unfortunately many of the activities and exhibits were missing crucial parts ... No metal nuts for the magnetic "nut bridge"... No balls for the "which way will the ball roll" exhibit etc.. The highlight was supposed to Be the Tesla Coil demonstrations... But during our visit they had a "make your own fairy garden" activity in lieu of the Tesla demo.. So the visit was fairly disappointing... I would rate it lower but from a kids perspective it was fun anyway and the sound wall...

I just want to say That This place Was a pillar in my childhood memories, my siblings && classmates as Well.

I Am now 32 soon to be 33 and Relive and discuss the Memories I shared here. Will be TRULY missed.. I'm now a mom finally and was looking the place up to hopefully share some of those memories with her... However, we All know time are constantly changing and waits on No one WE LOVE YOU ALL && THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TEACHING AND BRINGING US SUCH...

Great place for birthday parties and their weekend workshops for kids are always fun! Friendly staff and fair prices for all the museums connected to this one (Texarkana regional history museum, Ace of Clubs house, PJ Sheen house and Discovery place) events such as weddings can also be held at both of the house museums! My 2 year old loved our first visit and I probably had more fun than her as a 26 year old haha the Tesla coil show was...
