This is the location of the Post Office building in downtown Texarkana. A so-called photo island here allows visitors to take pictures while subjects stand with one foot in Texas and one foot in Arkansas.

The entire lot around the building was under construction but was not impassable. As a matter of fact all the construction people were extremely courteous and friendly. You can stand between the states at the same time as shared in pictures. Kids were having good time here. There's a history behind the same with John F.Kennedy. Suggested time to visit - Before 6pm cst. Not much to see around and everything is closed...
