We had President Club dinner reservations to honor our best call center employees for the month of July. We made advance reservations for 16 people at 6:15PM. When we came to the restaurant there were only 8 or 10 people in the entire restaurant. We had advance reservations and yet we had to wait 15 minutes to get seated, when there was plenty of open seating. We were assigned only 1 waitress even though there were several other waitresses standing around. We asked to have another waitress assigned but they refused. I waitress is not enough for 16 people. Our waitress then disappeared for 1 hour. She didn’t bring anything to the table before disappearing. No salad, nothing. Meanwhile during this hour no one was able to locate the waitress. When she finally returned, we find out that she hadn’t even put in out order until just before she returned to the table, after that one hour. Because three of our employees had child care commitments, they had to leave before the dinners were even served. Several others had to take their meals home with them when it was served, because they also had child care commitments. By the time the hour and half that it took to get our food, there were only 5 other people in the restaurant and at least 3 waitresses standing around doing nothing. During this hour of waiting we asked the hostess to speak with the manager, whose name we found out is John. She informed us that the manager refused to come out and speak with us regarding the issues. When the food came out it was horrible. The food was dry. The grilled chicken was like rubber. I'll never go in to dine or tell my friends to go here after this stint. Martha, needs to be fired! Never been talked to so uncouth and I warned her I was having a ptsd episode before hand. And that my niece hasn't gotten her paycheck and we needed her tip money before her shift. I didn't have enough gas to get her back to work. Thankfully, Emily the mgr came and handled it promptly on her off day. People whom judge others in a place, I should feel welcomed at, shouldn't be affiliated with Applebee's. This is a family, team working, ethical company. It's not a hospital with no bed side manners! Whatever profession Martha had before this position, she should go back to that profession! Never in my life, have I been judged so harshly and my niece. What a inhumane disgrace, of a human being Martha is! So, damn sure won't be kind next time and reporting her to corporate! Horrible service. The place was nasty, sticky tables, shoes stuck to floors, the place smelled unclean like a third world bathroom, smelled like year old food, unclean. My glass had a dirty smell and after taste of old food. The glasses was rinsed in dirty sink water then reused. Got there at 07:15pm 09/15/2022 the watress never took our order. At about 08:30 pm the Waitress sat down with her young kids and their backpacks (waiting to leave, maybe), another waitress asked her to do her job, yet the bartender told her dont worry about it... We finally left about nine and went to OnTheBorder. I still gave a tip to the second waitress for at least saying something. This Applebee's need a health inspection, new management, CLOSED until completely ckean, sanitized, and the staff trained and mandated to maintain cleanliness! Waitress and Nasty place loss $1200.00 in food in drinks from our group and the $300 tip.
