!LONG POST! My name is Trisha, and I use to work here I'm posting on his account because I don't have one. This is what happened. Corey (my boyfriend who also worked there) had to be there at 5pm and I stay so i don't have to drive home just to drive back a few hours later. I was trying to save gas. Well lulu came in at about 8 and we started talking and she got upset about me saying 'your just upset about me not buying cigarettes from you" (I recently quit smoking due to me being pregnant) but i was just playing. I thought she knew that because I was laughing when I said it. But she reared back to hit me. I told her you hit me I press charges. And then I stepped out side with Corey and then lulu came out there and asked me something and I just ignored her and she blocked me from going inside so I couldn't even go back in. And that's when she started giving Corey problems about him not talking to her when he was still talking to her and then all of a sudden it was him not doing his job. And that he needed to go faster and he told her that he was trying. And she kept hammering him and trying to rush him when he was going as fast as he could. And she got madder and madder at him and that's when he didn't want to take it anymore and told Daniel he's done. And he walked out and then walked back in to try to get the keys and the phone out of my purse that was sitting in a booth mind you it wasn't even in the back and Daniel wouldn't even let him inside to get them I had to walk outside to give them to him. And then that's when I told Daniel that it was messed up and that's when I got sent home. I've had multiple issues with Daniel and every time I had a complaint about him I went to cece and she never did anything about it. All she said to me is "I'm still trying to figure him out. He's only been managing for 5 months." The management here is terrible and I can see why the turn over is so high. Read moreWe love IHOP and have visited several restaurants with no issues. But never again will we go back to this one. We stood in lobby for 10 minutes before ANYONE came to great us. They were not busy at all. Our server seamed nervous. She messed up not only our order but we overhear the 2-3 tables around us messed up theirs too. When our food came she asked if she forgot anything. We pointed out what was missing and only got one item fixed. We Never got drink refills and only was checked on a few times near end of meal. I even took the lid off the coffee pot and set it at end of table. We observed several other family’s being upset with their service throughout the restaurant. In fact we believe at least three family’s left without paying. The manager was oblivious and wasn’t helping with customer service. She was observed standing in the lobby side of the kitchen window for most of our visit. Only coming out to seat people(not us) ever so often. The table next to us had complained about something and when the server took that to the manager, she began repeating “it’s not my fault, I don’t care, it’s not my fault” very loudly. At this point I believe that table left without paying. When we were finished and all plates empty our server stopped at our table asking if we needed anything else. we politely said no and she walked away. Our fault I guess but we assumed she was getting check. Then 10 minutes later, came back asking if we wanted our check. Finally we got our check but then waited for her come collect payment. Once she had our card She returned quickly then stood by awkwardly waiting for me to sign I guess. By far the worst experience I have ever had at an IHOP. We have no intentions of ever...
Read moreI’ve never had issues with IHOP before today. I Understand if you’re short handed, but there are ways to prevent these things from happening. We ordered online curbside pickup at 11:47 in which it said would be ready at 12:02. I got there and finally got parked at 12:06 and called to let them know. Food wasn’t ready yet but understandable they were pretty busy. Called again at 12:25 still not ready. Went in at 12:45 still not ready. By this point it’s been an hour since the order was placed, and I had watched others come in get their carry out food and leave. Kept getting told they’re working on it. Finally at 1:05pm I finally got my food. I’m pretty sure they never made our food to begin with until I came in ticked off. I’m usually an understanding person but to wait over an hour for food and watch others get theirs is very irritating. Not to mention I had kids at home waiting for food, being pregnant, and not feeling well on top of it. Turn off online ordering if your that short handed or very behind. Be honest if the order got looked over. I’d rather be told that than someone’s working on it over and over when in fact they aren’t. Have your online ordering give correct wait times. Pretty sure y’all knew it wouldn’t be ready in 15 minutes and then maybe you wouldn’t have people piling up for pick up orders at the same time and some people would actually wait an appropriate amount of time before showing up. It’ll be a long while before I come back. That was just ridiculous. Oh and to top it off had food to feed four people gave us one plastic silverware, 2 syrups, and messed the food order up....
